It looks to be off the road anyway, going by the flat tyres. But, it does look quite good.

My mam had one years ago. Very reliable and easy on fuel. The engine was as spotless and never burned a drop of oil. They were simpy too expensive new as they were all built in Japan and the value of the Yen was sky high in the mid-90s.

They had also moved away from the 3 cylinder with that model too - which I think would have lost them sales - they were on buyers radars with the 3 cylinder engines (cheap to run etc)

Didn't get a picture but a 94 primera 2 litre SGX English import (similar to the SLX). Was having a quick look around it and an old lad came out of the shop towards it and asked me if I was trying to rob it. Told him I hadn't seen one in a long time and all he said was the newer ones have nothing on these, quite proudly too. He's bang on, still looked a nice motor.

Yesterday afternoon South Quays in Cork City. 1970s Jaguar XJ6 4.2 in a very period chocolate brown. Looked like it had been completely restored as the paint and brightwork looked far too new. On repro ZV plates as well - silver on black.

    Great pics ND

Thought we doing great with the 405 and the Primera - and then the 205 van turned up as I scrolled down.

Top work - and thanks for sharing the pics

Just echoing the above comments nd. Great stuff as usual.

I'm in Galway today, and the stuff here is great - loads of 80s and 90s stuff like above! I should get to the country more often :pac:

    From today:
94 (I think) blue Citroen XM estate in Whitehall this morning. Huuuuge fecker of a thing.
Original Irish reg Triumph 2000 + Morris Minor in a garden in Coolock, I couldn't make out the plate of the Minor as it was at the end of a garden.

And spots from over the weekend whilst away:
    6898018535_b261571930_z.jpg
    89G7434 was the reg.
    6898007305_5772bb8785_z.jpg
Boot door was like a piece of Swiss cheese.
    6898004935_4d2634ac85_z.jpg
A strange SEAT van, a first for me.
