    It certainly warranted two photos.

    Turns out its the same car I spotted back in 2011.

    I seen that car today, took me a few minutes to think where then I realised your pics were taken just down the road from my house. :rolleyes:

    Haha, cool.

    Did you get a look at the owner? I never saw him/her but I guessed it might be OAP driven.

    Saw a bmw 3-4 days ago in Drumcondra. Black and silver plate 4 numbers followed by a single letter. No idea of age but surely pre 91 or 89 whenever the new plates came in.

    That'd be a pre-1987 plate.

    No, didn't see them but I'd say your guess is spot on. I'm sure I've seen it around before, I'll keep an eye out for it in future!

    Reliant Scimitar - you really don't see those everyday - and an Audi from a time when Audi was a premium CAR not a premium BADGE

    Good spot!

    There's a new pub :confused::p

    Been living there all my life and didn't know that! They did rename the Ashford House (or at least the back part of it) to The Vartry a while back. Is that what you're thinking of?

    That is so cool! I know where there is one of these, in red, sitting in a garden near the RDS.

    Does it look a lowered or is that just me?

    I don't think so, though it looks it in the photo.

    Sorry, no pics of the actual cars, but I saw what I think was an xk 120 and a Dino on the North Quays of Dublin at about half four. The Jag was similar to this

    Both seemed to be LHD with plates I didn't recognise. The Dino looked ordinary next to the Jaguar. Nice treat.

    Spotted a lovely 87 Mercedes being driven today by a young lady with her dog in the back. Didn't snap a pic but was in great condition.

    It's lowered ( suspension has been correctly lowered for hydragas) but I had a good look under than bonnet recently. That's a sleeper.....
