Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Literally just landed my arse on the couch. Cleaned downstairs, dusted, laundry, scrubbed the kitchen. While I was doing all that I had the open fire gathering steam. Jumped into the shower, then into my new onesie to chill out with some bulmers waiting for the soaps to start

On the couch all day watching movies. Live ones, recorded ones and Netflix. Nearly pub time for a few and maybe a Chinese later. For the record the remake of Deathwish is utter muck.

Just back on the couch, did a little bit of exercise so wine now and maybe a takeaway, better ease my body back to normal eating gently in case it goes into shock.

Feck off! I even bypass hotel food for a lennox's when in Cork. The smell of the grub lingers long in the room.

Update to my exciting hospital life: I went to relaxation therapy.

Update since this update: I was in lots of pain, I felt like self harming, but I had the best nurse in the world as previously mentioned so I'm seeing a specialist tomorrow. Also I've had a nap.

Keep hold of that feeling Shpud, there’s always positives in life.

I’m bedside, watching the Vampire Diaries but very seriously considering going to sleep soon. Bf woke me up early this morning and shopping wore me out. Can’t remember the last time I slept this early!:p

    I'm in the leaba. A busy day tomorrow. I'll be going through my usual craic of;

7.30 - "Ding a ling a ling! Oh fùck its the alarm. Maybe I should drive. That way I can stay in bed until 8pm, 8.15 if I do my makeup in work. Hmm decisions decisions. Better make my mind up fast. Or maybe I'm sick? No can't do that. Driving equals comfort but also traffic. Train equals people but also daydreaming......

    Snores snores snores snores

Ding a ling a ling! Fùck it. How is it 8pm already? Oh crap its 8.30! Will get later train and taxi in to work.

Bedside. Reading a few emails and messages I missed in the last few days, I need to get back to work, a lotta bills to be paid.
Depressed enough with Liverpool losing, should have left these till morning.

Having a pint in a hurling mad pub in the Midlands... Figured that i just need to earn €38 a week to get the state contributory pension. Might pay the publican €38 a week to get this paid back to me. The equivalent of 4 / 5 hours a week at minimum wage.

Kitchen table/laptop finishing a beer but keeping an eye on the post Christmas reality that awaits for us late runners.

In bed a tiny bit sad. Last feb my arthritis started whooping my ass. Started meds in summer but I’ve just realized I’m probably never going to get my real hands back. I struggle turning off a tap, twisting the knob, squeezing stuff out of bottles neatly empty, gripping things. I’m so much better than I was. Just not the same.

But sure look. It’s dark. Everything is worse in the dark. I’m sure I’ll feel better about my hands in the morning.

Mrs G had a stroke in August 2017. Lost her Left side and she is left handed. Got some rehab and came back to some left side movement. She doesn't feel sorry for herself. I feel sorry for her and yet she soldiers on. Can't do a lot of what you can't do, but has to deal with the fatigue and Brain injury side of things as well. Embrace your physical injury as you can never fully embrace a brain injury as well.

In bed trying to perfect the cardi b rap in girls like you maroon 5. I’m dosed with a cold since July really, from my methotrexate, but I got a germ cold in December and it’s ****in with me. Earlier on I couldn’t get warm. I had the gas on, heated the house, had a coal fire burning, had my fleece onesie on and a king sized fleece blanket folded in half wrapped around me. I wasn’t warm, just comfortable. Now I’m in bed, window slightly open, just a T-shirt on, an lying on top of my duvet under a blanket sweating and breathing like a pervert in a phonebox. Don’t feel sick whatsoever. Just irritated at little things, please don’t let the germ cold get me again :(

Everyone sounds down? Ah well.... cloud 9 is fine for a while but you need a good head for heights.. crash landings can be painful... OUCH!

Listening to the wind and the quiet ticking of my little clock... Waiting for the cat to warm my feet up but he has gone to sleep on the job. After that huge tasty feed I gave him!!!

    Yawn,,,

In bed, just put on Mr Elliots water, giving him an extra bit cos he caught the dose and has a big dirty cough. Had me worried since new years eve but he's coping well, resp rate is still normal and he's not retracting when breathing or wheezing. (:D think I'll start that medical degree..) so, I can relax, sorta. The cough is loosening.
Having a family party for the almost 9 year old today, cake and the rest of the Christmas sweeties.. Get them out of the house. Sponge is made, I shall ice it later. I Didn't lose any weight this week, but I didn't gain so a win of sorts with 1lb down for the christmas season. Back to the grind after a small piece of cake later.. Then off to smyths this afternoon with 4 kids.. Cos, I have no sense.
