    Is this a five minute chore for most people? Do you try to slow down and experience the bodily sensations or just tug with speed, clean up and fall asleep?

    Porn adds intensity but over time it's screwing with your reward system. We'll never get the same excitement and novelty from a real partner. Look up PIED.

    I barely ****, I find it makes sex much less enjoyable. Even if you quit **** for 1-2 weeks, you'll find when you do get a bit of tail (or head) the sensations are much better.

    Does anybody else do it when their other half is in the bed asleep at night beside them?

    And is it normal in a perfectly healthy relationship with no reasons to complain , AND get sex when you want, to still fantasize about other women when masturbating? Including friends of your partner.

    There is that age old topic of feeling guilt after masturbation. I’d say I’m the opposite. Right after you be saying to yourself “jeez I’d love to be out riding around me again, one night stands and all that craic” but it wears out within 5 minutes. And you’re all lovey dovey and cosy with your partner again. A strange phenomenon.

    It must be the longing for single life men in relationships get every so often. I don’t believe for one moment there’s men who never ever get that thought

    I know material can get stale fast but I dont think its a good idea to think about someone you have a lot of interaction with. Thats how feelings get muddled. Theres plenty secondary characters in life to keep you going

    Sometimes it's not appropriate to think about someone in a sexual context. **** over them pretty much establishes a sexual context.

    I'm married with a kid so for me that's really anyone I meet who isn't my wife.

    It's fine and normal to view pornstars in a sexual context though, for example.
