Comparing first 8 days of June (168.9 kWh) to start of May (164.3 kWh). Must be better sun where i am :)
Once I cover my usage I'm pretty happy, so far this month the highest import from grid is 1.12kWh one day. in total so far only 3.83 kWh.

    1st 29.7
    2nd 14.9
    3rd 29
    4th 20.9
    5th 14.5
    6th 20.2
    7th 24
    8th 15.7

Is anyone tracking how the partial Solar Eclipse will affect their production today?

What a mental curve. Started the day scorching, 12kWh by 1pm.

    Then the whole thing collapsed!

Finally managed to use most of my generation today despite being a sunless day with 99% clouds :D

Best day ever for me today in the 7 weeks since install of my 4.76kwh SE facing array, an even 34kwh and now just 9kwh for me to break the 1mWh barrier!

Longest day of the year - well second longest - and got 30.9 kWh from a 4.8kWh system despite clouds in the morning.

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,224 ✭✭✭✭DrPhilG

    I got less than 10kWh...

    An absolutely crap June continues.

    Some cracking few days:

    19th - 42kw
    20th - 41kw
    21st - 42.4kw

At 680kw for June so far, might beat the 850 for May if the sun keeps it up!

Still exported 70kw with maximum usage, how much for 50kw lifepo4s? :D

44kWh and it was fairly overcast from about 3PM. Self use rate 74%. I'd say on a blue skies day around this time of year I should make about 60kWh

Not sure if we will get 1 full day of clear skies this year, hasn't happened so far...

You're sucking diesel now so with new string, I got 38 yesterday with fair bit of cloud, 4 washing machine loads, dishwasher and multiple showers and cylinder full, house load "surplus" went into the EV.
Got 56kW into the EVs between Sat-Monday

My stuff for sale on Adverts inc. outdoor furniture, roof box and EDDI

I need to buy another EV. Don't have anywhere to put the leccy into. With a smaller E/W system I am topping out at 30kWh but the system is producing 1kW+ until 9pm.

Whats your payback period look like with that sort of capacity?

Stunning summer's day today in Donegal...

Well not quite. Miserable pish morning to night. 8kWh generated.

Worst day yesterday producing 4.8kwh since last days of March. Cloud on roof all day till 6pm.

Got my new 4kw system up and running on Monday afternoon. Have generated 62kw in that time. And drawn 24 from the grid. Pretty happy with that.

I can feel myself becoming obsessed with electricity consumption. Would love to drill down into which appliances are consuming what.

Just under 39kWh so far today and still generating 1.1kw

    Exported 24kWh...

That’s huge. What size is your array?

54.2 here I think that's a record, and still not near a perfect curve.

Car was only home for a few hrs this morning.

    28kwhs exported.

(6 kw inverter, 10kwh storage, 8.65kw panels, NE/SW split, almost flat)

I've come to not worry about the export.

Fonished on 39.2 and exported 23.8

Yeah after a horrible few days including a month's worst 7.9kWh:

    25th - 26.6
    26th - 39.2
    27th - 32.1
    28th - 29.6

2 mixed days to come according to the forecast. I'll estimate around 25 & 30kWh. So I'll finish around a disappointing 680kWh or so for the month, after a whopping 777kWh for May.

I had hoped to hit 5000kWh for the calendar year since install, looking more likely for about 4800kWh.
