Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Poor enough scoring from Cavan looking at the scores. They could be in serious danger of tier 2 championship with the glut of players they’ve lost.

Sin bin surely won’t work unless the time is stopped for injuries.

Should never have been brought in without changing the timing to match the LGFA method too.

Fair pace to this now. Mayo much better this half.

Is touching David Clifford a yellow card offence now?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,085 ✭✭✭✭BonnieSituation

Ah yes. The "you can't look at Clifford" rule.

    Can't touch golden boy.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,304 ✭✭✭munster87

    Some advantage there

Referee doing his best to make us forget the good first half.

Ref is having a nightmare here. Can't touch a Kerry jersey.

Referee decided to make Dublin Kerry game all about himself.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,399 ✭✭✭✭ThunbergsAreGo

Ref is losing the run of himself here with the yellows

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,775 ✭✭✭✭Slattsy

Assume a sniper took Geaney out there?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,380 ✭✭✭STB.

Its a masterful art isn't it, the nudges in the back.

The Kerry lads must be dizzy from doing this in training.

No, it was the high tackle by McCarthy.
    Surprised you missed it

Absolutely nothing wrong with that shoulder by Geaney.

    Kerry jersey is awful.

Its both teams, he is giving frees (and cards) for very very little.

    Its ruining the game

O hes done it now, was never ever a booking

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,085 ✭✭✭✭BonnieSituation

Wait, you mean Kerry people "boo" as well?

I'm sure we'll not hear the start of this.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,778 ✭✭✭Big Pussy Bonpensiero

Ref very soft to both teams tbf.

Looked like he way holding the back of his head. Assumed it was a sniper. Hope he's OK.

Ref might need a Garda escort

There’s unlikely to be a sniper at the match.
I’m sure he’s glad for your concern

So lowndes is on a black already and he leaves his hand in high. Yeh refs fault though.

He deserves to be off for the haircut alone.

    It was a definite yellow.
I doubt there’ll be a debate on it

I think the first black was very harsh myself.

Kerry lads rolling on the ground holding their face is not what we need to see in GAA

He got a belt in the face. What would you expect him to hold, his foot?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,895 ✭✭✭Poor_old_gill

I think the first black was very harsh myself.

It wasn’t- sure body checking lads off the ball was one of the main things the black card was brought in to stamp out.
Plus it was right in front of the ref

It’ll only ever be stamped out of the game with retrospective bans. It’s gone to the dogs all over the sport.

How do you react when you get a slap in the face?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,580 ✭✭✭ArielAtom

Cynical and play acting!!!! Who’d have thought the keepers of the flame would resort to it!!!!

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 11,439 Mod ✭✭✭✭Hammer Archer

That's not a black card. Both players going for the ball.

    No way a black card

Are you joking me. Clifford hand in the face and grabs McMahon by the jersey. McMahon shrugs him off. McMahon gets the yellow.

O Donoghue stops Murchin on a run out off the ball. No card. McMenanim carded for a similar offence minutes later.

Awful stop start stuff. Kerry killing the game when beaten on the break.

Another off the ball, O Sullivan. Blatantly obvious to the blind this time.

Not even sure that one was a free

Again, a player runs into another, falls over and its a black

The rules of the game suggest otherwise.

Is it just me or does the referee blow his whistle longer than the usual length of time?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,399 ✭✭✭✭ThunbergsAreGo

I thought te Kerry player deliberately ran across him, would need to see it again

Alot of incentive for players to fall over off the ball

Another soft free (and they are for both sides)

Its been a dreadful second half

    Fenton really quiet second half
