Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ref was always going to find time for the draw

More like john small acting the ape

    Don’t be giving him oxygen

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,380 ✭✭✭STB.

Why on earth would you kick the ball away after that free was given. No way was Clifford kicking the initial free until the referee was forced to move it forward.

Should have been well blown up.

Where on earth did the extra 3 mins come from given Dublin kicked the ball around the Kerry team for 2 to 3 minutes of it ?

Ref plays God about outcome of game.

A gent off the pitch in fairness to him

 not sure what the team I support has anything to do with a game between Dublin and Kerry. You'll hockey us out the gate as usual, if that makes you feel better.
I just find it rather baffling that Dublin fans rail against cynical play when they employ the same tactics when needed.
Case in point was Kilkenny there hitting the deck there. Kerry player does that and some Dublin fans are up in arms.

It’s your anti bias towards Dublin, the fact your a Meath man, it just goes hand in hand!!!!

So funny reading down through this with the Dublin lovers vs the Dublin haters. Not an unbiased thought among anyone :D

    1-19 to 1-19.

Amazing the offensive football and scoring on show when a northern team isnt involved.

Give over with your northern ****e

There were 2 frees, some kickouts and a sub that are up about 3 mins of the added time. Ref is well within his right to factor that on.

    It's a minimum, not a limit.

Draw was fair in the end.
Kerry still lack the balls to beat Dubs.
Dubs lack of discipline makes things harder than it needs to be.

Referee contributed to the "handbags" finish.

Kerry lads losing the rag here. Embarrassing.

Seriously?? So John small wasn’t loosing the head then? Or scully giving Clifford a dig after the free. Or Dublin players kicking the ball away twice after the two deliberate fouls.

Some supporters are so blind in here it’s pathetic really.

Nice touch by Rock with the handshake to Clifford after the free.
Good game for January but Dubs to cruise to an all Ireland again with little challenge.

Dublin wasted the final minute of injury time taking that lead point free kick. Made a substitution, then fouled, fouled and fouled in the subsequent play. Serves them right.

Dublin kicking the ball away after giving away a clear free, to prevent a quick free, followed by Small coming charging in looking for a fight had nothing to do with it? Blame the ref

    Good watch.

Mark is pointless and it was a shame to see so many dives resulting in frees. Game has to allow some contact and players going to ground should not result in so many frees.

Actually most of that was taken up by the referee sending off a Kerry player

Kerry keeper nearly lost them the game. Not the first time their kickouts in key stages has let them down. Really needs to be addressed.

    Ref was an absolute joke

Didn't have the balls to send philly McMahon off.

    Black card was a joke.

Soft frees all over the place. Pulled back for a stupid foul when Kerry were through

Injuries and deliberate time wasting are the allowable items. Please.

Its the same ref that from the AI Club Final last week. 5 minutes went up on the board. He played 12. Corofin were going mad.

Who’s the blondie woman on RT2?

Every second so phrase she says is “I Suppose”

    Awful “pundit”

Gender balancing for gender balancing sake is not a good thing

It had been bubbling all 2nd half with both sides and him waving cards as if he got commission for each card he dished out was what caused it. Terrible refereeing.

Yep, you could tell, whistle up to his lips anytime a Dublin player got near a Kerry player, waving ‘advantage’ when not close to a foul even..The effort to move the ball closer 10 meters (he moved it closer to 15) plus some of the other late decisions were just indications the ref was actively trying to enable an opportunity for Kerry to draw the game, he succeeded. Pure shîtty, appalling and unfair. We’ve seen replays of the decision to move the ball forward 10, the Dublin player was 100% committed to challenge for the ball with his leg before the fûcking whistle was even blown, he made contact before or as the whistle went, but because it was a strong challenge the ref is off on his merry way 15 closer to the Dublin goal, poxy refereeing, not difficult or 50/50 decisions.

OK. Not exactly Dublin's biggest fan obviously (even though I have no problem admitting ye are the best team ever) but nothing to do with what I posted.
    And you're completely unbiased?

A draw in GAA always a result for the bookies.

A Timely melee? Would like to see a few camera angles to see if there were any "signals". Doubt if most of the players knew anything about it - just joined in with the "handbags".

    Handshakes all round then

Had no investment myself, just an observation. Highly suspect imo

Can you post a link to the game you watched because it sounds awesome. 007, Jon Snow and a dragon and that would have an oscar.
