Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

There's a laptop I want to get from the Spain Amazon but it says I need a Spanish address to sign up for the prime there. Does anyone know if I can sign up for the UK one and purchase from the prime sale in Spain?

Are those echo dots any use? Im going purely on impulse here

They're great bar sound quality for songs. My kids love them, great for playing songs for them. Costs more but get much better sound from the Echo Plus. They have 3rd gen one for £49.99 which is very good value- link

Hi, can someone explain Amazon Prime please, I'm new to Amazon, have ordered a few items, all fine albeit I hadn't figured on different dates of delivery.

I was under the impression Prime wasn't applicable to Ireland (forgive me if I'm wrong).

I understand its a kinda subscription service but guess its probably only useful for regular purchasing. I only intend getting specific items, maybe a few times a year. I'm also using virtual UK address with DPD to save on some outrageous delivery charges to Ireland.

    Thanks

Is maith an scáthán súil charad.

use as a radio with no reception issues - voice on and off and select channel, volume
    use for music streaming service
    play podcasts
timer set by voice - handy for food etc - time 5 minutes
    reminders
if you're asking about them presume you don't have any smart home stuff like lights etc but can control that also

the sound on the basic one is fine for small / medium sized room imo

Thanks all for advice on the Fire Kids. Went to buy the Fire Kids 7 and says can't deliver to my address. Amazon are getting ridiculous with their shipping to Ireland.

    Deffo not.
I needed an extra one no matter what so I was either paying the €55 on adverts or buying on prime. €33 delivered to PM through Revolut so either way I’m happy :)

I have been itching to buy one to make my Samsung smart tv better. I think ill buy a couple now :)

Anyone using Firestick. From what I;m reading it uses AC power but you can use USB power if you buy adaptor.

    These I assume ?.

Mine is powered directly from my TV. Had been using the plug but I got a guy to put a TV bracket up recently and he tried direct power and it works. No adapter needed

I remember that deal. I don’t think it was the 4K one for €25 and that was the reason I didn’t buy it at the time.

The discount should apply after selecting the payment method. I had the same issue.

The USB power adapter for the fire stick won't ship to Parcel Motel.

I see some cheaper non brand ones - do they work just as well? They look like just regular USB leads?

when you get to the payment section, it changes to the £29.99 price, you get a discount for £20.00

I find DPD's Parcel Wizard better as they deliver to your door for the same price rather than having to go somewhere to pick it up.

By and large they are grand, in the sitting room and herself father using the non 4K for "tv"

The biggest difference I seen was the wifi speeds, but then if you need a VPN to watch "tv" then that's going to take a big hit anyways

Got a 4K myself for future proof, but never use it for 4K (when the tv dies ill go 4K)

Just go to Amazon.de and sign in with your usual Amazon UK details.

Why do you need to log in right now? If you need to find your Parcel Wizard address, it's in your emails from previous orders. If you need to top up, you can do it after you make an order.

The firesticks that won't ship to Ireland will have issues with viewing amazon prime video in Ireland btw

Can be got around by getting on to amazon usually but it can be a hassle

They can be extremely hit and miss, and if Amazon push an update out, they will go into a bootloop until they're connected to a proper power adapter.

You can use two(or more) firesticks on with same Amazon account yes.

However deal is limited to 1 per account to buy.
