Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Couldn't resist a trip to the casino for the Prime Icon SBC! :rolleyes::pac:

    Ended up with Prime Blanc.

    I was disappointed at first especially as I thought it was going to be Desailly when I saw the French flag and then CB, but after playing a few games with him he's actually decent enough.

    I've been using van Dijk a lot lately and Blanc reminds me of a more agile version of him but with less of that AI autoblock ability.

    This week, more than most, I’m feeling my 88 Torres is falling behind the power curve. A shame, my favourite player of all-time barring Gerrard. Time to go striker hunting for a partner for Reus... or get a CAM and play Neres up top.

    Neres (and Dzeko) have got their +1 upgrades already. Time to investigate that LW/LF formation to try and get Neres and Neymar in together

    It makes zero sense that they can get these upgrades out instantly and yet we have we wait till Saturday for RTTF upgrades.

    I tried him out for a while as a super sub and he is reasonably good but his card is ruined by 81 composure and that can't be improved. Its the same thing that ruined the Lozano headliner card.

    I sold him and I'll use Neres instead, I suspect a lot of people have done the same. So you should start to face him less and less and see Neres a lot more.

    thank christ..Diatta is lethal coming on a supersub I find..he always ends up scoring against me.


    Dropped CR7 and starting Neres at ST before moving him to LAM.
    2 wins from 2, servers are good so Eusebio feels incredible.
    Both himself (6) and Mbappe (5) have started well :)

    The awful pack weight of that Prime Icon pack is hardly a secret at this stage, but I just watched 50 on YouTube and literally the only big win was one Matthaus.

    Henry x 2 and Figo popped out too which some people class as wins (the balance ruins Henry for me) but other than that literally nothing but your usual Veron's, Rush's, Giggs' and Owen's etc.

    Watch them next week release an icon player pick or the guaranteed Moments that's been in the code for ages now as a further coin/fodder drain ahead of TOTS.

    Got henry in the Prime sBC pack. Thank god I didn't get Giggs for a third time! Surprised how they represent Henry - he is built like a bulldozer is not skillful, is slow, and plays more like Diego Costa. He is not terrible but not great.

    They've ruined what should be a very good card with the balance.

    It's ridiculous that his balance is so slow.

    It's like that Mexican icon Sanchez whose card was unusable last year because they clearly made a mistake on his composure (I think it was about 50!) and never bothered to fix it.

    Yes like it costs more to do Ineacho’s POTM card at 86 rated than Benzemas La Liga equivalent card which is 94 rated

    At least it’s here for a month and during TOTS too, might bring the price down a bit with the sheer amount of packs that’ll be opened.

    I put players into the 89 squad part of Aguero to see if I could complete it without buying anyone. I could.

    Went back into it then a while later to swap some players around and accidentally hit 'Submit' instead of 'Work Area'. So may as well do him now that I have done the most expensive part.

    Wasnt impressed woth neres at all on left side then put him up feont beside messi to see what he be like.... 12 goals in 4 games he is unreal reminds me of the future stars fati i fell on love with a couple months ago.

    5-1 so far, best Friday start this year.
    Zambrotta at CB is my next stop,,he’s bloody amazing.
    Gelling now with Eusebio with 12 goals.
    I was playing Neres up front but I prefer Mbappe’s who’s also growing on me big time.

    Was 4-2 in WL. First game of the day, lost 5-4 AET. he had 5 shots on target. His Nick Pope made 16 saves from me hahahaha

    8-4. I got 2 rage quits in a row. No better feeling. :D

    I know you guys have been spamming the thread asking for my player reviews so I have 2 for you today.

    Prime Crespo - Faster than his stats suggest. Great movement and just a pure finisher. Dribbling is good. Passing is meh. Feels like a much better version of that Hernandez icon card. The Mexican fella. 8.5/10

    Baby ALESSANDRO DEL PIERO I was shocked by how good this card is. He feels so smooth on the ball. Fantastic dribbling and don't even go there with his shooting. On a similar level to the best ST on the game Daddy Marco Reus. Pace isn't an issue but don't expect him to outpace Kyle Walker unless he gets a yard of space. 9.7/10

    I know this happens everyone but those disconnect loses are so annoying

    Game freezes, tells you you've disconnected, throws you out of Ultimate Team but then you're able to log back in and reconnect no bother!

    No matter how good or how bad I start, I always end up on 14.

    Went 13-8, thinking “4 from 9 is well doable”

    Now, 14-14. Doesn’t matter players, formations, whatever. I have a level :(

    So the latest offering from EA - exchange an 84 squad with 1IF for 10 83+ rated players or in other words give up an 84 squad and 1IF and get 10 83 rated players - let me think if I’ll do it? Thinking over, it’s a no from me :)

    9-3 at the moment.
    Work tomorrow but curious to see how far I could have gone. Will hit 11 and I get time try to hit 14.
    Eusebio is lethal, Neres is amazing up front in a 41212(2).
    Might try playing that formation for a few games to see does he keep it up.
