Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I got excited seeing the first Christmas ad, even though my husband has threatened to divorce me. I love Christmas and I'm not sorry. :D

A lot of dicks who dont want a relationship, telling women want to hear until they have sex with them. Drives me mad.

I found out one of my friends was doing this so myself and a couple of friends tore into him, he promised not to do it again.

When I found out he was still at it, I created a fake profile using a hot girls picture, bought a sim, arranged a date in a gay bar and "stood him up" after stringing him a long with a load of running late excuses, he was there for 4 hours. He was furious :)

Your in love with your friend ..

Queuing for a bus in Westmoreland St last week, I’m about number five in the Q. There are people whom I’ve noticed congregated near the doorways and at the windows of adjacent shops. I know the form, bus pulls up, they stub out fag and make a beeline for the door of the bus..

Airports too, waiting for boarding to commence, I’m in the Q...once boarding is called people who have been sitting in seats in and around the Q, stand up, adjacent to the Q and attempt to join it....waiting and Qing are not the fûcking same thing..

Young girl, aged 4/5 on LUAS Thursday, had those HD eyebrows drawn on.
I had to pinch myself, because I thought I might be hallucinating from the waft of howareyabud off pinprickpupil lad who sat opposite me before the girl sat down.
LUAS Red Line, never a dull moment for sure.

    What's HD eyebrows?

Had a lad give me the wanker sign this morning when I didn't let him jump a 5 minute queue into my lane. Ah well.

I'm not an expert, but you know that current look some women have, like caterpillars are sitting on their eyebrows?

People getting trades in to do work, knowing they don't have money to pay for the work. Or just deciding in advance to take the pee and pretend they don't have it. Not trivial for the tradesmen/women :(
It's the epitome of scumminess imo.

Sorry to be that person but it can also be used to mean ‘on purpose’. It has a few meanings.

It’s really bad when somebody can’t sit through a film without gawping at their phone. A time check only takes a sec and can be done subtly (aided by turning the phone brightness down low and to the yellowy nighttime light). That’s not what people are doing. They’re gawping.

There’s a subtle difference. But ‘purposefully’ can also mean ‘intentionally’ which is different to the usage Bluewolf is thinking of, the ‘doing something with determination’ usage.

A popular make of crisps have a new range out.....they could be out ages but I only became aware of them. Picked a packet up, a sharing bag size....saved them up for when I could properly enjoy them......they are rank...that 2 euro could have been spent better.

Haha no, not meanies though haven't eaten them since school. The tayto mucho range, chicken chili flavour. They were wrong on many levels.

Petrol stations , have a one way system and don’t park at the petrol pumps if you are nipping in for a slice pan. Very frustrating for other drivers waiting for petrol or diesel. Whole place gets clogged up.

My lovely Spanish friend just sent me a picture of her little girl at a pool party.
However, it also had her husband in it, wearing only his very tight speedos and ripped six pack.
Not fair sending that to a single woman :(

Lack of common courtesy from retail staff.

There is a new girl that works in the local shop that nearly goes out of her way to make me feel like she's doing me a favour by waiting for here to figure out the change.

The fact that she's not even Irish is more galling.

That sleepy yoke wants you to feed and pet him/her (the order in which you do these things is irrelevant). And s/he wants you to make room for him/her on the couch. And if you don't do it, shame on you!

Exiting the supermarket car park out on to an incredibly busy road and the person behind me decided the second that I reached the front of the queue that by beeping their horn, I'd somehow find a gap in the traffic a bit faster. All thats gonna make me do is be extra extra cautious, no matter how long that takes. And no, I'm not an asshole, there was no one behind him so I wasn't causing a tailback

Men who wear a tie that matches the colour of their partner's dress.

When my fella was being measured for a suit for a wedding we were attending, the tailor suggested matching the tie to my dress. I thought it was nice.

TA'd that I can't taste anything with this awful cold and I lay awake last night for 8 hours because my cough wouldn't let me sleep.

When you don't allow yourself to get close to anyone romantically for years and years because you're sick of getting hurt, and then you finally allow yourself to and shock horror, get hurt again.

Do the nuns hire men? I may as well apply at this point.

I bought "easy peelers". Not only is peeling them like trying to rip a soccer ball with my bare hands, but they don't break into segments properly. So, I either have to mangle the pieces in order to separate them or shove a good few segments in my gob together and risk choking. And the bloody things are sour.
