Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Today i learned you need to scan the app every time for scratch and save to work... ive been wondering why i never got it again for weeks, cause i hadnt used it every time...

Good deals this week, reset tomorrow and more good stuff. usual staples of rice, nuggets, bacon, spuds and comfort, theyd be in my usual cart, so excellent stuff.

Was asked to pick up some shower gel on the way home so picked up the Coke zero while I was there and got €1 off next shop which I'll use for the oven chips tomorrow or Friday, worked out well

Well that kind of makes sense They can't reward you for shopping if they don't know you've done it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,564 ✭✭✭✭whiskeyman

Yeah, sometimes I don't scan because I've nothing on the treats list.
I guess it's good for them to link the receipt to the user for their own research and then give a scratch card as reward.

Used my €2 off from halloween and discount on the cod fillets. Also got jalapeno wedges & some spinach. Thats a relatively healthy 2 person dinner for about €2.50. Happy enough with that.

Chocolate with almonds bar worth 78c on scratchcard

They have a tray in the chilled ready meals section of wedges topped with cheese sauce, jalapenos and ham. Its very very good imo.

Feck it. I was looking forward to these until the ham bit.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 35,024 ✭✭✭✭Baggly

The ham is an affectation to protein. Its most wedges, sauce and jalapenos. But yeah, little bit in there.

FWIW, i also bought the composite ingredients to see how much easier / cheaper they are vs just making myself.

I no longer get scratch cards after doing a shop and scanning the tag, my most recent digital receipt is Oct 18th, even though I’ve done 2 weekly shops since then. My discounts do work as expected. Anyone else experiencing similar?

Yes, same here - no digital receipts since 18th October, no scratchcards, discounts are working. Emailed customer services about it and and they replied saying they were aware of the problem. Then on Monday I had another message from them saying that the problem had been fixed.
It's not fixed. I tried to phone them yesterday but the calls kept dropping out so I've emailed them again.

I’ve had no issues with digital receipts and scratch cards.

Lads anyone ever have to take a bottle wine back to lidl.
Went to open a bottle red wine from lidl and the cork is leaking and it smells like vinegar,
    Don’t have the receipt
    Will they replace

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,625 ✭✭✭✭okidoki987

Had a €1 off voucher and when I used it yesterday, it didn't go :D.
Had to use it a few times (to try and get rid of it ;)) but it never disappeared until this morning.

If you used the app when you bought it the receipt will be there
    They should replace in store

There was an extra scratcher on the app for Halloween. I scratched it and now I appear to have 3x €2 off vouchers, all expiring in seven days. Anyone else?

I won the almond chocolate too and walked back around to pick it up as I knew i wouldnt be back in Lidl before it expired. Luckily they werent busy and there was only one person in the queue with a couple items so I was out again in no time.

Picked up the cod, sour cream and onion crisps and the salami from this weeks offers. The salami is a giant hunk of a yoke, havent a clue what Im going to do with it but came across this site for a few ideas

I got the almond chocolate as well, picked it up in Mullingar yesterday and it was 2 months out of date. Worth checking before you buy
