Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I had to settle for 1 litre of Paddy which was the same price. Picked up some wine we like which was on special offer as well and used a €10 off voucher. Score.

It hasn’t changed. Only usable as a hot whiskey or to clean a mouth ulcer.

My bad I'll remove a zero. Not such a good deal now :)

8 cans Hop House for 12 euro in Tesco. https://www.tesco.ie/groceries/product/details/?id=300400074

Dunnes often does boxes of Hop House bottles for 20 euro.

I picked up slab of Heineken for 14 euro in Tesco yesterday. "Spoiled" goods section is often good for beer. Only thing wrong with this slab was the packaging looked slightly worn. Just wanted to brag about that :)

Sometimes you get lucky with that got 8 cans of proper Guinness in Tesco last night not that manky stuff with no widget for €8.17! only thing wrong with it was some slight damage on one of the cans.

I think it's delicious. I much prefer it to Bailey's.

Both have a good selection tbh

Main range in Lidl is Crafty brewing Co (Rye river valley in Kildare brew it) and I think equivalents in ALDI are Roadworks and Brown bear ranges (Pearse Lyons in Dundalk brew it) and O’Sheas (brewed by Carlow brewing Co)

Both stock other craft beers too

Looks like I’m going to Tesco later. I have two bottles of three swallow in the press already but €30 is just stupidly cheap for such a quality whiskey.

If you haven’t tried this one just go buy it.

Got a bottle (last one) in Tesco Dodsboro earlier. Now to decide whether its for me, or to keep it as a pressie for someone deserving.

I paid €45 for a bottle last night feeling pretty smug with the deal I had gotten  .... sick reading this!!It's a great whiskey.

On a similar note, you can currently get Yellow Spot on O'Briens online for €70, which also seems to be a very good price at the moment.

i bought the 24 in super value the other day for 28 bucks. it was apparently a saving of 1.79.
so if that was right, it is pretty cheap still for a slab in supervalue

also, i did noting they had a disclaimer notice sitting atop of the slabs of guinness saying that supply issues, no widget!

North Earl Street used to have it but it's been almost a year since I've been in there so you might want to call them first.

Just checked my local one, not there either, selected stores I’d say.

Wasn’t out of stock either, no pricing on empty shelves

Yea, €28 for 24 x 500 ml cans here locally too, but the 8 for €10 deal is good , usually €14 or so. I get frowned upon bringing in slabs to the house ....
Anyway, yea it’s cheap at the moment

Dates perfect over a year left on it. I had one there and it's a wee bit too bitter for my liking. The brown bear ipa is 5.2% and still at full price. This is a session ipa at 4%
