Warmack gets a hard time anyway from titans fans, but he's getting a kicking for that interview

Same for Long... But I wonder how much cherry picking of the whole discussion was the article.

One key point I would pick up on though:
    "
Limits on practice time have forced NFL coaches to spend most of their time installing the offense, rather than focusing on the tricks of the trade. That's led to sloppy play. There are other reasons for the deterioration of line play, such as the spread offense in college, free agency preventing cohesion, and little contact in practice, which limits growth together as a unit.
    "

Stoked to be going over to NYC in November. Won't get to an actual game but have great plans to watch the Monday night Packers-Eagles game in a major Greenbay dive bar. My future Mother-in-law has agreed to come with us. That should be fun. :D:D

The average is so high I don't think you'll be disappointed by picking at random.

There's one called 129 Cars that's outstanding. About a Chrysler dealership who have to meet a quota of cars to sell in one month in order to get a bonus from the main company.

The crew spend time with different dealers ranging from incompetent to among the best in the country. Best part is when the clock is winding down and the lengths they go to in order to offload cars, and how mayhem breaks out when deals start falling through.

One of their best episodes imo.

Sounds perfect cheers. Listened to another car related one before about the General Motors factory in California, and its many failings, which was very good

    interesting Jed York story here.

It involves one of the 49ers beat writers (who actually usually comes across as a bit of a dick, if he was posting on here he'd be accused of trolling, for example he wrote about how the 49ers had messed up the draft by missing the chance to draft Tunsil and instead took Buckner. He always seems to take these confrontational positions against York. He also seemed to do the same thing with Harbaugh).

Anyway, getting back to the point. This guy, Tim Kawakami and Jed York had a bet some time ago about when the new stadium would get built. He said 2015, York said 2014. So York won the bet.

The prize was that the loser must buy the winner dinner at a restaurant called The French Laundry in Napa.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_French_Laundry

    Not cheap anyway.

So prior to the meal Jed asks if he can take his wife along, and he would pay for the wife, Tim says fine. It ends up being Jed, his wife, TK, Matt Barrows and Ann Killion(2 other beat writers).

The Bill comes out and Matt and Ann pay for themselves, but Jed says nothing about paying for his wife and just wanders off, leaving TK stuck with the bill for all 3, which comes to about $600 per person, and he ends paying something like $2100.

More on it here if you are interested...

Former Colts WR writing about his concussion experience & how he is working to treat others now. It's a different view to the "concussion is the end of you & there is no way back" argument.

#Jaguars 1st-round pick Jalen Ramsey has suffered a knee injury, source said. Characterized now as a small meniscus tear. 2nd opinion coming

Jaguars having no luck with first round picks

Just watch the top 100 from last night. Harrison Smith for the vikings came in at 73.

On his highlight reel one of his teammates says to the camera that hes 'the best white f*cking safety in the league'. Does anyone else think it weird that the NFL would choose to put this in?

Can you imagine Kyle Rudolph turning to the camera and saying that Teddy Bridgewater is 'the best black f*cking QB in the league'?

The same in last years show when Ike Taylor was talking about 'white boy' Jordy Nelson. 'White boys arent supposed to be able to run fast' was the quote I think.

Now I dont really care that people talk about skin colour but it just seems odd that these are the most some of the most complimentary things that the NFL can find other players saying about Harrison or Nelson.

Picture the uproar if Peyton Manning was asked to speak about Von Miller and they go for quote 'My lord, I didnt realise the black boys could be so smart!!'

One the one hand I agree. On the other the comparison is off. I'll take my race being considered slow over it being considered dumb any day of the week. Much easier to kill a perception that you are slow by simply running fast (presuming you can). Much harder to show off intellegence (in a football context but even outside with exams there is a fair amount of subjectivity).

I used is just as an example of the stereotypes surrounding different races.

These perceptions will never be killed off if the governing body continue to promote them as arguments as to why one player is better than another.

I do agree and feel reverse racism is widely accepted. Although in terms of the white boys not being fast, white people are at a genetic disposition to black people when it comes to speed.
