Or that they they ordered Miller's parents to move in? First I've heard.

The Broncos didn't order Miller's parents to move in - they suggested it would be a good idea. What the Broncos did do was move an official from the front office in with Miller and the official then shadowed Miller.

Again though, where was that reported because I thought I read it was his parents idea.

I'm just glad he's been resigned most disruptive player I've ever seen play for the Eagles

Good on him, all contracts should be stipulated to be at least 50-75% guaranteed money so I'm very happy for the guy.

its 26 mill signing bonus and 26.3 over 6 years!!!

    The breakdown is as follows

    Signing bonus = $26million

    2016 - base salary = $1.3million + option bonus = $1.2million
    total cap hit = $7.7million

    2017 - base salary = $3million + option bonus = $1.2million
    total cap hit = $9.4million

    2018 - base salary = $11.5million + option bonus = $1.2million
    total cap hit = $17.9million

    2019 - base salary = $15.6million + option bonus = $1.2million
    total cap hit = $22million

    2020 - base salary = $12.9million + option bonus = $1.2million + roster bonus = $1million
    total cap hit = $20.3million

    2021 - base salary = $15million + roster bonus = $1million
    total cap hit = $16million

    2022 - base salary = $16.1million + roster bonus = $1million
    total cap hit = $17.1million

In effect this is a 3 year contract extension with an average of $16million over 4 years - 2016-2019 - and dead cap money for the Eagles of $6.4million in 2020 if they cut Cox.

The Denver Broncos have signed ILB Brandon Marshall to a four year contract extension worth $32million - with $10million signing bonus and $20million guaranteed. The cap hit for the Broncos this year will be $4.55million.

The Cox deal is a monster but i'm thrilled with it. He's still really really young and this is a deal tying him down for his peak years. Its a lot of money but there will be more bigger contracts, thats the nature of the beast. I like these kind of deals for your own players but hate them for FAs.

Great move for the Eagles imo. And if Wentz is the answer they hope he is they won't be paying the qb big bucks for most of the Cox years so it should offset nicely.

With the fine print of the Cox deal emerging it looks like the guaranteed money is now more like $36million on a two year extension rather than the $63million originally touted. There are conditions built into the remaining 'guaranteed' money.

In effect it is a two year extension to his current deal and worth $36million.

The current numbers being discussed by the Broncos and Von Miller appear to be 6 years worth a total of $114million with $58million guaranteed over 3 years and $40million guaranteed over the first two seasons with conditions on the remaining $18million for the 3rd year.

Did anyone else read the dad's comments and think he doesn't exactly sound like the greatest parent?

Don't get me wrong maybe he's just at the end of his tether and out of patience... but there was a kind of coldness in his words that just sat very wrong with me.

RIP buddy Ryan. He's died at the age of 82. Buddy is the father of rob and Rex Ryan and former head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles and defensive coordinator of the Super Bowl winning 1985 bears.

Featured heavily in the 30 for 30 about that great bears team. It's widely acknowledged that he played a far, far bigger role in that super bowl than mike ditka. A defensive genius, the documentary was very sad when it focused on his illness in later years, and how much he meant to the players in the greatest defence of all time.

Yeah he might have been a bit direct shall we say but that bears defense were some unit. Serious operators as they say.

He caused havoc in Houston though in 1993 with the oilers although that season was a disaster already.

Zurlon Tipton ex Colts RB kills himself accidentally with a gun aged 26.

Apparently taking a bag out of the boot that had 2 guns in it and one went off accidentally.

He had been waived by the Colts for been arrested for a gun related incident. I think was accused for threatening his girlfriend with a gun or something. Awful story anyway.

Former Broncos (and Redskins) head coach Mike Shanahan can now be officially classed as an a***hole.

Shanahan is hosting a fundraising dinner for Donald Trump in Colorado - $5000 a plate.
