Bought a OPO in the early days when invites were few, considering upgrading to the X, yes the X not the 2, budget wise the X looks very good value for €250, yet another €50 and it gets you a OP2 so I'll have to look at it again. Anyone here upgrade from a OPO to the X?

I notice if you buy any Oneplus phone from their site you get the bamboo case free which is a nice addition. I did notice there is a saving to be made if I buy via the UK site, I may do that if possible. I presume it is once you use Parcel Motel.

I wouldn't. It's not an upgrade. The OPO is designed as a flagship, the X is a budget to mid range phone. There are a lot of compromises and omissions, like missing wireless 802.11ac, missing NFC, poor camera, weaker processor, weaker battery, less pixel density on screen. Keep the OPO or get the Two

If the OPO still works, I'd wait for the OP3 - should be announced around June

My phone just updated there automatically and seems to be using a lot more power. Android System is at 12% and Android is at 11%. Is there any way to revert it?

Anyone recommend a good custom kernel for the OP2? Leaning towards boeffla as I had it on my S3.

For those who updated the software and were having battery problems... Did these resolve themselves? I got the phone last week and tbh there is a fair bit of lag with some apps. WhatsApp being the worst offender.

Did you update OTA or update to Marshmallow?

My phone is up to date and I don't have any lag or battery issues.

I did no updates since I got the phone. Would not be great at it. I'd only ever do software updates if the phone asked me to!

    From oneplus directly.

    cheers.

You'll love the phone. I bought mine around 2 months ago, upgrading existing from an iphome5. I made the decision because my brother had one, and I didn't want to pay 700+ for a new iPhone. This phone is fantastic, and for €305 I couldn't get anything like this for that money.
    Top top phone

How long does it take usually to receive one of these phone after placing an order?
Do they ship from the UK?

    Used the free shipping option.

China really! I thought they would ship from inside the UK like they did with the OP One.

Mine was shipped from the UK. I ordered it on 22/03 and received it on 25/03 - that was with free shipping.

Mine was shipped from UK after all. The courier tried to make a delivery Wednesday but I got the phone Friday. It really is a step up from the OPO. The finger print scanner is so responsive and the screen is very sharp even if it is only 1920x1080.

The latest update definitely killed the battery in my phone. I'm losing 40% overnight with my phone doing nothing while before I barely lost 1%.

To those who've updated and are noticing battery drain 1) is it the Marshmallow beta you've updated to and 2) has a factory reset (or any other fixes) helped at all?

Reason I'm asking is my wife is looking at buying one soon, and has been having similar battery drain overnight issues on her Moto G 2nd gen since updating to Marshmallow. (She hasn't tried a factory reset as it'd just be more work especially when she's getting a brand new phone soon, so she's just putting up with it for now)

Just trying to guage whether updating to the Marshmallow beta would be advised.
