My heart can't take much more of mcgregor fighting.

If it was up to me I'd have mcgregor in round 2, he said he wants to toy with Diaz and I believe he can do it.

We have a fundraiser on the fight (for a great cause) in the draw I got mcgregor to win in round 1.

Fingers crossed. Not a great card so far, really looking forward to the next fight. Hard to call. Heart says Holm, head says Tate.

This is the first time I've watched a full programme of this sport seeing as it's fta and a reasonable time of day where I am and I have to say all my preconceptions have been confirmed. A bunch of violent meatheads brawling for an audience of idiots.
Just look at the products being advertised to get an idea of the demographic this appeals to. I'm only still watching in the hope that that horrible little skanger gets his face smashed in, which hopefully would be the beginning of the end of his career and I won't have to hear about him anymore.

If you think him getting his face smashed in would mean the end of his career..you clearly know nothing about the sport.

Best not to waste your time ;)

You call people meatheads for enjoying MMA and then proceed to hope someone gets their face smashed in.

Monster energy drink (aka chav-water) appears to be the principal sponsor. Some awful looking film called Hardcore Henry, Bud Light, Harley Davidson etc. are prominent. These are not aimed at what advertisers term the ABC1 demographic

If it's for the greater good, then yes, I believe I'm justified in hoping this happens although it's the result I'll enjoy more than the act. I haven't been home in 6 months but I can guess he's spawned thousands of lippy little scrotebag copycats with sh1t beards and Topman suits.

Indeed. Ronda Rousey will beat Holm in a rematch I feel, then beat Tate again.

Brilliant gameplan and execution from Tate! Dana White will be praying to God that Conor wins now.

Bit of blood from a light cut ..... thing of nothing to a fighter like him.... Conor will be worried as it goes on... Nate will keep bleeding and not show any ill effects

Why did he go for the takedown? Nuts!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,349 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

Mouthing off in the ring and then bang, bang, bang, he's stumbling around like a drunk.

Conor will have to go back to cutting 14lbs to win fights.

Let's not forget, Nate was training for a triathlon up to 12 days ago, not at all ideal preparation.

    Conor was outboxed & outwrestled.
