    Very trivial one....

When you get a notification from an app on your phone, you use the notification as a link then to that exact part of said app... Message notifications will take you right to the conversation. Game notification straight to the game. That's the idea.
So why the fúck does the Sky News app not do the same?... They give you a notification for a headline... Most of them you'll ignore, but on every occasion I ever click in, not only does it only bring you just to the news list, but the page for the story in reference isn't even live yet.
So they are sending out notifications about storys BEFORE they've even updated the news list to include the relevant item.

Maybe you're getting notifications from the future? Any notifications about lottery numbers or the 3.50 at ascot?

Got pinged by the 5-0 doing 180 on the motorway (M2 if anyone interested).

Went onto a certain forum to look for advice on whether I could put a friends address (in Serbia) and his mother's name on so she could take the points (Obviously I'd pay the fine). Ended up with a ban from said cleanshirt forum.

Still haven't figured out what to do over the speeding issue.

Pay the fine, take the points and stop putting the rest of us at risk by driving at stupid speeds.

No but I've heard on another forum that the po po don't check up on that kind of thing...not worth the hassle apparently.

I would have expected a court appearance tbh..very lucky with just a fine and Im certain that they would check up and that kind of thing.

Just seen it wasnt mph..still I would take the fine and points myself.

What's a cleanshirt? I mean I'm familiar with the concept of clean clothing but you don't seem to be using it in that context.

    Another trivial annoyances

people that don't understand slang terms

punctilious policing of internet chat fora

    Sorry Boom :o

OK, TAs. I have this alarm clock (Aldi's wake-up light one) that's really annoyingly designed. If you set it for 7:00, it actually won't kick in until 7:01. It took me a while of waking up halfway through the news on the radio before I realised.

So now my alarm is set for 6:59 and that's just...wrong!

Finding seeds in seedless grapes or 'easy peelers'.

speaking of 'easy pealers'.... easy pealers that are far from easy peelin'!

You mean those packages with the little tab in the corner that inevitably comes off in your hand, leaving you to use a scissors / knife to open the feckin thing?

People who take themselves too seriously on the internet

I think easy peelers is actually a slang term for the po po that will just let you off with a warning when you're rollin' in your six four

    That's a big TA too!

I meant tangerines, satsumas and clementinies... all seem to be branded as 'easy peelers'

I'd say easy peelers are oranges/clementines/citric-type vitiman C orbs.

I have some of them here in work, but am trivially annoyed partly because they don't peel very easily, but mainly because my little ceramic knife with a 3mm blade (that's perfect for exposing orange-y juiciness) was robbed 2 hours after I gave away my spare.
