6am this morning and still half asleep, I pulled my bag of lunch stuff from the fridge and knocked out an open tin of pineapple chunks (and all that syrupy sticky juice) ... It hit the floor and went EVERYWHERE... Including on me.

Expect a TA post from my wife.... I didn't clean it up!.. I was late. :pac:

Waking up this morning to find my housemate has made a huge mess in the kitchen and didn't bother to clean it up.

Also TA'd that he refers to me as his wife

When people in work use your mug.
All our work mugs are white with company name/logo on them, so obviously any mugs that are different belong to someone else, why are you using it?!!

Casually, and loudly mention that you must make an appointment to see the company doctor about that unidentified lip fungus that's bothering you;)

TA - all people talk about in the staff room is exercise and healthy eating. I just heard them say "unless you puke, faint or die, keep going". Bloody hell why would someone be that stupid???

When you're driving along a main road and somebody pulls up from a side road, looks at you and sees you coming but still INSISTS on pulling out in front of you.

Then they dont bother their hole to speed up to meet the speed of other cars, and just plod along at 30-40 miles an hour with everyone slowing down to thier pace! So annoying!

And there was bloody well no one behind me this morning you slow poke!!

    Haha I love it!

My TA is that a €1 Yorkie ended up costing me €2 due to a vending machine fault.

I hope you rang the company / owner and let them know?
There was a dodgy vending machine in work, and the amount of people who'd get stung and never give out / get their money back was unreal!

my TA - I've been trying to like dark chocolate and kept upping the cocoa % to see if I like it.
Just got 85%... don't like it, but I've no 70% left to fall back on :(

Christ alive man, you'll be shítting like a new born baby now, dark chocolate is like a laxative

It annoys me (possibly more than trivially) when a somewhat interesting thread gets hijacked by a small number of posters ranting at eachother, writing long essays and multiquote responses to eachother and refusing to let a single point drop

Yeah nothing worse than it! Basically if it's not a lighthearted thread you can be sure if it goes over 10-12 pages of posts it'll be 2 or 3 posters just arguing amongst themselves!

And nobody will admit they are wrong which makes it worse!

1 hour meeting, it could have all been covered in a 1 minute conversation. Marvellous.

If you had to identify, in one word, the reason why the human race has not achieved, and never will achieve, its full potential, that word would be 'meetings.'

Those stretcher earrings really annoy the fcuk out of me.

I'm sorry but they look horrific, they're common as muck and they make you look like a mong.

I saw a lad in Tesco with those but wearing a suit, which made it look even weirder. Then, after about 5 seconds, I realised that he was a neighbour of mine who lives 4 doors up. He was probably wondering why I was looking at him like that. Terrible yokes...
    My stapler isn't working!

My stapler was stolen! Actually, the place was cleaned up yesterday so now I can't find anything (but it looks lovely! ) but I'm saying it was robbed.

Do you know what it means?

It's used, in a not very nice way, to describe a person with Down Syndrome. Mong being short for mongoloid.
Poor form from me. I would use the term much in the same way as I would use the term "gay" to describe certain things. I don't mean any slight on people with Downs; much like I don't intend any offence towards the LGBT community.

We really need to start implementing a system of tl;dr for meetings.

Ah a nice quiet bit at the office... except for the combined chorus a tea slupper and two others eating apples. I'm not normally bad but it's driving me nuts!

TA'd at the casting for the upcoming Dark Tower movie. Idris Elba as Roland Deschain just doesn't seem right.

    Some TA's from school today.

It's world book week and I asked the kids to bring in their favourite book. At least 4 kids said they don't have books at home. Books can be expensive but go to Dealz or the pound shop and buy a cheap one.

I got pink paint all over my lovely boots.

To get to the staff room for lunch I have to go outside. I got absolutely soaked because the heavens opened just as I was going on lunch.

    I need a holiday.

Are there any other type of meetings?

It's generally the same people trying to fill their day by having a 1 hour meeting instead of spending 5 minutes typing a mail or picking up the phone.

It's worse when you've had to travel to them

In this day and age would you have accepted it if they'd brought a kindle or ipad?

If you want to pick a second word, it would be "committee".
