Got home after 4am this morning and had to feed some calves that I bought. The teats on the feeders were frozen solid. I had to use a heat gun to thaw them. According to the temp reading in the van it was -5 outside.

Gonna be that temp for the next few nights

Weather gone to pot here, absolute deluge here last night, and snow capped peaks around the place this morning. Normally we get rain or cold, but to get both in such extremes at the same time is pain in the ass

Heard the loudest thunder I ever heard in my life at 3AM last night. Just one long bang about 10 secs long. Wouldn't have been surprised if there was a meteor outside the door this morning.
