Fordell and Co are really digging their heels in on this "a joint is just as bad as beating women bloody (unless caught on publicly released video)" stance, eh?

To be fair there is a number of strikes in the drugs violation policy before suspension. This is Gregory's 4th failure.

It's also worth keeping in mind that with regards hardy I don't think I long term plan was an option because they had no proof and he was not convicted any ray rice or josh Gordon type ban would have left them open to a law suit.

Gronk's party ship...my god, this is horrifying...they should just put the Gitmo terrorists on this boat for a couple of hours instead of waterboarding them

Wanna know what the worst part is? Only 700 people of the 2,300 people on board the ship are part of the Gronk party...imagine paying $1000s to go on a nice cruise to the Bahamas and being stuck with that lot...you'd have to throw yourself over board instantly and take your chances with the sharks, right?

This wasn't the first year he's done this so I think your comment would have been valid after the previous cruise.

Was there any breakdown of the male to female ratio? Good chance it was a sausage fest I'd say.

TBH I still like Gronk as he's a lovable idiot that is always open to having fun while appearing to be quiet genuine in his actions unlike the likes of JJ Watt and Russell Wilson.

I never found him funny in other than the fact that he keeps doing retarded meathead stuff in every situation and he doesn't take himself seriously. So I'm more laughing at him than with him (not in a mean way if you get what I'm trying to say).

Gronk is fun in small doses but being on boat full of Gronks and Gronk wannabes would be my worst nightmare.

I am not a huge fan of JJ Watt as a personality but what do you think makes him not genuine in his actions?

Everything and anything he does is to go viral and portray himself as the All American hero and good guy. He has said he wants people to see him as a real life Superhero and he has said that.

    Examples of his BS:

Wishing his 90 year old Grandmother Happy Birthday on Twitter...his Grandmother obviously isn't on Twitter

The log cabin he keeps telling us where he likes to spend his off season secluded work outs al a Rocky style...the log cabin is an actual mansion and is 1 mile from a McDonalds.

Posting a letter his brother wrote to him about he is such an inspiration to him and then thanking himself.

His twitter is nauseating, the other day he asked his Twitter followers for inspiration and then started favouriting the lamest inspiration quotes.

On Hard Knocks where he tells us he likes to get up at 3am to work out because everybody else is asleep while he is getting better...shut da fcuk up you tool...just get up a 9am and do the same workouts

Doing a sack dance that incorporated all current viral dances hoping he'd go viral

The Andy Dalton joke on MNF that you know he had been practicing in the mirror all week

Telling us when he has cheat meals...but all his cheat meals are healthy

If you can't tell i fcuking hate JJ Watt, he is such a try hard and a lame twat. Nearly all that stuff above i listed off the top of my head but there so much more. If people are wondering, i don't follow JJ Watt on any social media but if you live in the US he appears everywhere, on ads, everywhere on social media with some people lapping his lame sh1t up. I don't know how many times I've seen the heading "You'll never guess what good guy JJ Watt just did?" on some news head.

Prime example: The Unbelievable Life of JJ Watt I just puked on my keyboard

I don't really harbour much hate for JJ Watt, tbh. He seemed a bit much on Hard Knocks, alright, but at the end of it all, he's already a three time Defensive Player of The Year. You don't get much more legit than that.

I don't think anybody is criticising his ability on the field.

It's off the field that is sickening but to be fair to him it's all about the dollar bill. He will make a lot more than most other football players by doing what he does.

I personally cannot stand it but a lot of people lap it up. I don't hold it against him because I understand that he is just making as much money as he can while he is hot news.

Between him and Peyton there's not many ads on TV with neither of them in it. And since about November Papa Johns ads have had them both. Which would be fine if those a-holes could deliver a pizza without me having to call three times, but they can't.

Sorry, went off on a tangent there.

Never go on that site but i do follow Barstool Sports and one of their main writers (who went to Wisconsin) chronicles all the lame, attention seeking crap JJ Watt does.

JJ watt is everywhere in US social media regardless, he's hard to avoid.

The NFL literally tried to steal $120m from the players, could they be more corrupt?

They're less football mad up here in Toronto (it's -still- all about Jose Batista and his bat flipping magic! :p ) but to be honest I've done a decent job not really knowing it was as much of a with with Watt up until today, in this thread. :o

You might remember the post & link I put up last year in the old TWWAAW thread. I can't be arsed looking for it, but if my stalker's about, they might help..:pac:. The log cabin was 4,500 square feet of luxury, with a separate garage most people would gladly live in. I have great admiration for JJ on the field of play, but when he's off it, not so much.

With debacle after debacle being presiding over by GOOFdell. I'm so looking forward to the next CBA and I really hope the NFLPA bury the leagues billionaires. It's high time the players realised they have all the power and there is no NFL without them.

They won't a lot of they players can't afford to hold out so they will inevitably give in the owners know this so the players will always come out second best

The one about the guy putting a crazy amount of effort into pretending he's someone else, all in the hope of getting likes and attention.

JJ Watt is guilty of that too, I guess.

Now I don't want to be sidetracking the thread, but I assumed the first part of your post was talking about Russell Wilson, not Watt.

I see your point, but I think the key difference for the next CBA compared to previous ones will probably center around player discipline and player health. I can't see the NFLPA ever allowing the clowns in the NFL to continue presiding over player discipline. So I think an independent disciplinary process will be a bottom line. I also think players are more acutely aware than ever, of the long term implications for their health post football and how the league looks after them. So I think we'll also see significant improvements in that area after the next CBA.
