Those stats are for home and away fixtures. You should really be concentrating on away fixtures as that is what Barcelona have tonight. They have a +10 goal nett haul over 12 away games in La Liga, that is winning by just under 1 goal per game on average. In the Champion's league they are +2 goals over 3 games so far this season.

It's the second leg in two weeks time that you need to worry about. Tonight's game is against a team who have only one win against Bate Borisov through three away games this season in the Champion's league. Tonight's game is against a team who have 8 wins, 2 draws and 2 losses away from home in La Liga.

Roma and Bayer Leverkusen both held Barcelona to draws at home this season in the Champion's league. I think Arsenal are a little bit ahead of both those teams.

    Great call

Gary Lineker not sure what manager the happier? Sure I thought we were getting a tonking tonight......

In fact the match thread is fairly quiet. Expected a Barca w@nk fest

Happy enough with that first half. We have looked dangerous anytime we have got near their box, obviously that will be rare with the amount of possession they are having. We have been defensively solid apart from right at the end with the two chances. Same again for the second half I hope, but with us taking our rare chance!

Martin o'neill has given us a bit of credit to be fair but i suppose as an underdog manager he'll readily have sympathy for the job we have at hand. Souey will find any excuse to get a dig in.

We've done well so far imo. They've had a very very close chance but then they were always going to and its only one.

We've had a good chance with Ox ourselves

Ox should have buried his chance and should have squared the ball to Ozil before Mascherano done him, hope we dont live to rue them.
Get out of this match without barca scoring would be a great result heading over there

Slightly worried what this will take out of the players (if we lose) looking forward to the weekend. :(

They're putting in a massive shift.

    I'm furious with Wenger.

Flamini should never be near our team ever let alone tonight.

Per should have cleared the intital ball but why does he try to smash it clear? Just needed to nip it

    Doesn't matter.

Flamini has stole a living from arsenal.

One of the worst players ever at arsenal. Dire.

Some amount of braindead players still at the club. Welbeck has been as good as he can be since he came on, though it'd be hard to have some kind of improvement on what Giroud served up. Ramsey with his usual "nearly" stuff all game. Flamini finished. Mertesacker left the one way he shouldn't be left for the first goal, brainfart for the second. Oxlade-Chamberlain can go whenever he likes.

Call it knee-jerk, there's nothing I haven't said before and I'll stand over any of it.

    Disappointed with the result.

Very naive performance from us tonight, they changed the tactics second half and we got sucked right in.

The substitution of Flamini was absolutely baffling.

We badly need a goal scorer

No choice, sure we couldnt possibly have quality on the bench.

I think deep down we all knew it was a big ask,it's hard to take because we conceded 2 terrible goals.
Smash Utd the weekend and all will be forgiven

Campbell had his purple patch, but he generally hasn't played well for a while now.

At least we have a bench that can make things happen.

It wasnt a purple patch hes a better player than either of those two.

But you got that right ... we have a bench that can make things happen.. Flamini !!

like i said Wenger got it wrong again tonight.
Wenger is out of his depth against the big boys in Europe.
Wenger ignores too many failings in his own team
Wenger doesnt react soon enough on the night.
Wenger doesn know what are the right changes to make either.

Does a forfeit count as 3-0? Should do it for the second leg.

Wenger has to take serious heat for that. best team in the world or not, we blew that one.

Players will be deflated going to Old Trafford and the 2nd leg is a write off. Disaster.

Cant wait to qualify to get knocked out at the last 16 again next year

Don't think they'll be deflated long enough break to regroup and get over it

People have to be realistic Barcelona are the best team in club football by a mile. We were capable of getting more out of the game but there forward 3 is just insane. We are a level below them and that showed tonight.

I'm not too bothered about tonight if I'm honest I felt going into it that it was a big ask.

The biggest negative for me really is how much this will impact the United game and the fact we failed to score again

Flamini is a disgrace, happily never see him in an Arsenal shirt again

    That's 5/8 games without scoring.
