Would getting a wedding dress into a Mazda mx5 not be tricky plus would you not rather be driven on your wedding day rather than doing the driving ? Just curious they are certainly a nice car I'm personally not into all these A6, 7 series rental wedding car sh!t I'll just use whatever car I have at the time for it and get someone else to drive it if I do get married of course :) that's just me though.

That's all well and good until your missus says she doesn't want to be driven around in a Silver Megane for her wedding :pac:

Nothing wrong with the Megane :pac: I'd stick a ribbon on it and give it a wash you know id be good like that :D Christ id be very worried if I still had the Megane getting married it would mean a very quick turnaround time between meeting someone, dating them, getting engaged and then married while still having the Megane.

    Have you a kill-button, or anti-lag, or an F-Type??

Should pay it imo, the charges go to the hospital and in turn help the patients.
Trying to think of ways to avoid paying a hospital revenue stream is pretty low tbf

I guess that makes me a lowlife scumbag so... ah well, could be worse..

It'll generally do it on gearchanges - especially high RPM upshifts. I can make it do it by tapping the throttle above 6000rpm on the overrun, but not always.

It only had the one opportunity at Mondello I took the majority of the track in second gear, only changing to third halfway through that long right-hander. But It was definitely doing it.

They're also a lot more visible in the dark.

About MX5ireland, I registered with them a few times and it says to wait for an email from the admins, but nothing ever happens. Is that an actual, live website?

You know them hospital car parks, or any car park for that matter - you roll up, press the button, get your ticket, park up, do your business, come out, pay at the machine, go to the barrier, put in your ticket and go out. When leaving, would you be able to walk to the "in barrier" press the button and get a ticket, run to the cqr and go to the out barrier, put in the ticket and go out for free, seeing as there's 20 minutes free parking?

I'm paying 9 euro a pop for hospital parking, over 60 euro on parking this past few days. If there's any way to "overcome" this, it'd be appreciated!

Normally there has to be a car in front of the sensor before it gives you a ticket. Most hospitals have daily / weekly rates. Vincents have a discount form for family members visiting over a period of time.

I wouldn't be in to tailgating myself but it was revealed a year or two back that car park and hospital shop profits are often used to top up managers wages. ;)

Pretty sure it's just used to top up wages for the higher echelon of staff, directors, CEO, etc.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,907 ✭✭✭power pants

that's my point. Thank you for agreeing with me :)

Car just taxed for the next three months, happy to have a full window again, hoping to do the CCV, Rocker and Oil Filter Gasket this weekend, service it soon after and then flake away at the wheels, bodywork and brakes :D
