    Andy never impresses

Maybe it's wishful thinking - but Joey seems superior to the other 3

That's the second chef who's put hot stuff onto raw stuff - what did they think was going to happen, other than their raw stuff cooking

Poor Joey is for the bus home it seems

Awww, Joey is so lovely. I'm very sorry to see her go.

Sorry to see her go, but her plate wasn't up to it. Odd decision to do a basic salad.

Ah well. Pottery final up next. Woo Hoo !

Yeah, bad choice of dish for sure. Maybe she should have knocked Marcus over with another dessert?

Have to head out now, so no pottery final for me tonight. And that's the last MC I'll see live this week.

Nice chatting and watching with y'all!

Christ, they were all brilliant. I'd love to give Darren's mousse a lash.

EDIT: Fair decision, it was the only proper one.

Ah that's great all of them through.

Does that mean the five tomorrow are facing a double elimination?

Bloody hell. That dessert from Nick. Sploosh.

Great to see as they all seem to get on, it would have been horrible after both their single round and the coop one for someone to go home.

Missed the start of today's show. What happened to Bobby?

Edit: He's on tomorrow night.

Much prefer this idea of all chefs having to work together - as opposed to previous times when they were farmed out to an artificial restaurant scenario

Didn't realise it was for the Law Society dickheads:cool:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,504 ✭✭✭Dave_The_Sheep

The look on Darren's face - I think he shares the same opinion of the Law Society.

Looks like the next team effort is for the ' Cricket Association Of England' or some such obnoxiously elitist gang of ****...

The BBC is true to form once more

I turned on 10 minutes in, then turned off pretty quickly, when i heard the cocky chef (nick i think) , trying to speak french. Also i dont think any chef should be made to feel that nervous, its only the law society.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,748 ✭✭✭✭HeidiHeidi

Wow, that was some culinary performance by them all!

Don't know what all the fuss is about the Law Society - half of them have cooked for years in Michelin starred restaurants, they're hardly going to keel over with nerves at this, surely?

The contrast between last night's and tonight's challenge puzzles me though - tonight's looks more like one of those outdoor catering challenges, not exactly the same as in the very pro-looking kitchen of the LS. Or maybe I just read the promo clips wrong.

Really, really don't like Nick - or Mark - both have a different, but equally, smug look about them. But whatever about Nick, Mark certainly ain't going anywhere for the moment! I really thought Andy was for the high-jump last night, his was the only dish they weren't in absolute raptures about.

Anyway, it'll be another slightly tipsy late-night catch-up for me tonight!

Hopefully Bobby is for the chop tonight. I took a dislike to him after arrogance in the first round\intro. I'm interested to see how they work together tonight, a few touchy personalities in there (insofar as the heavily edited Masterchef lets us know what someone's personality is like).

    +1

Had meant to post that in my earlier ramblings - I've a distinct feeling tonight's team event won't run quite as smoothly as last night's!

As 5 got through last night - i wonder if that means a big cull tonight?

My God -what a stupid concept to have the main cooking area 'miles' away from the service area:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
