Anyone else get the impression that all the choruses of "oh they took away our toys, so it's just basic cooking - that's GREAT, I LOVE that!" are coming through gritted teeth? :D

They are just saying it as they think it's what Marcus wants to hear

All the food left draining on j-cloths - do they not wind up serving cold, and/or congealed, meals?

Danielo ( Italian Embassy) is getting great praise- he is safe

Danilo came good in the end - phew!

    He's one of my favourites.

Nick, on the other hand, is not. Makes my hackles rise for some reason.

And Nick also getting complimentary remarks

Jayz, there'd better be one or two car crashes coming up, or they'll be tearing their hair out trying to knock someone out! :D

    Gwan Joey though!!!

Joey in a bit of trouble I'd say

    Scott might be vulnerable

Darren always looks nervous - and pork belly not a great choice

    Think he is a gonner

Bobby is heading for the last 8

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 32,613 ✭✭✭✭HeidiHeidi

    Nobody going from this round.

I've never heard of half of the ingredients in Bobby's dish

And was there anything he DIDN'T put in there?

Joey heading for the cook-off by the looks of it.

Bobby doing well, I'd love to try wherever he cooks.

All those rich oxtail gravies are making my mouth water!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,324 ✭✭✭keps

Beardless Mark - also on a winner I think ( although Marcus cast some doubt)!

Hard to spot the bottom 4 but Joey is in danger

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,324 ✭✭✭keps

Ok Josh is gone into the last 4

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 32,613 ✭✭✭✭HeidiHeidi

Josh is the first proper car crash.

    Looks utterly revolting!

    Joey might be alright yet!

Did they not object strongly to venison with oxtail gravy/sauce earlier?

Yet Mark's dish was a work of art and better than perfect?

    I'm calling shenanigans on that!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,324 ✭✭✭keps

Tough call to name the last 4 though

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,324 ✭✭✭keps

Think Joey might just make it

    ( to cook again)

    That's a very male-dominated line-up!

Hope Joey can pull it off this time, with bells on.

The first guy drowned the venison in the sauce.

Second guy obviously heard that and just put a small drop on it.

Personally I prefer to dose sauce myself, hate it when the waiter does it.

Bet Josh is going to go for the biggest lump of mainstream meat he can find this time!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,324 ✭✭✭keps

Think this type of test should play to her strengths

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,324 ✭✭✭keps
