Its not much of a negative you're right but it is still a negative which is the whole point of the calculation. What other players do is irrelevant this is merely about measuring whether one player scoring is good or bad for you nothing more.

My bench of Butland, Moreno, Alli and Cresswell is tough to look at. Moreno is first sub and I only have Lukaku left after Chelsea so nobody will come in:(

Good week so far. Looking like over 50 including BPS with Barkley and Lukaku (c) to play.

Disappointed that I didn't bring in DDG for Ruddy though. Hindsight obviously though.

47 is the top 1k average, you should be flying it but lots of Lukaku captainers left (including me)

You're not comparing like with like. If you are counting captaincy of the player in question (effectively two players) you need to also consider the impact of others (or at least the points difference between that player and your chosen captain).
