    Coutinho is a serious doubt.

According to some sources. But others reckon he's a deffo start.
Apparently was available midweek but rested. Games on Sunday.

    Anyways have Ayew 1st sub

    Butland

    Henney Moses Ward Daniels

Another Saturday rolls around and I'm getting ready for another day of disappointment!

    Myhill
    Smalling, Kolarov, Ake
    Alli, Lanzini, KDB, Ozil, Mahrez
    Vardy, Lukaku

Thinking about taking a hit to swap Aguero out, he's on the bench at the minute. Costa is tempting me.

    Gomes
Alder - Moreno - Bellerin - van dijk
    Ozil - kdb - Barkley - Mahrez
    Vardy - Lukaku

  • Registered Users Posts: 22,249 ✭✭✭✭Lemlin

    De Gea
    Bellerin Kolarov Bertrand
    Ozil Coutinho Mahrez KDB
    Kane Lukaku Vardy

Nyom to sub in if Coutinho misses out.

  • Registered Users Posts: 16,664 ✭✭✭✭dahat

    De gea

    Moreno Zouma Bellrin Bertie

    Ozil Barkley Mahrez KDB

    Lukaku Kane

In -4 already so leaving Aguero till next week when he probably play hopefully.

Captain is another hard one, would love to risk a MNF captain.

    Myhill
    Smalling Bellerin Moreno
    Willian KDB Ozil Mahrez
    Vardy Kane Lukaku(c)

    Hennessey, Kolarov, Nyom, Wanyama

As an aside, this is the first time in this season I can remember having involvement in every fixture time slot.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,271 ✭✭✭✭FHFC

Myhill (probably selling for Courtois shortly)
    Bellerin, Moreno, VVD (Naughton, Souare)
    Hazard, Sterling, Mané, Ozil (Mahrez)
    Kane, Vardy, Lukaku

Was pretty happy with that till i realised i have 8 of the 11 scout picks. Thats not usually a good omen.

My decision now is to start one of Mahrez or Kolorov, I'm leaning towards the Algerian Pele, anyone got a strong opinion?

Well the main source that has probably drove the opinion that he's a big risk to play is Klopp. I doubt mind games are needed against Newcastle.

I'd always go attacker. Can see City conceding and Mahrez looked great last week against United. If Ulloa or Okazaki had of been up to much he could have had an assist. Could have more luck against Swansea.

The thing about mahrez is that his form has dipped recently - he probably won't be on penalties and vardy chases the other.

I seen reference to another record elsewhere. But what is it? Is it the one to break Messi's record? Can't see that happening. Mahrez has 2 goals and an assist in the last 4. Probably should have 3 goals only for the peno. He played well in that game also. As he did against United. Wouldn't say his form has dipped that much.

In terms of points over last four games or whatever the criteria is that they use on the site - it's a lot lower than others.

Jimmy Dunne (Irish lad) scores in 12 consecutive games - which is long time record,

    Mignolet
    Bellerin Smalling Bertrand
    Coutinho Ozil(c) Mahrez Eriksen Barkley
    Lukaku Vardy
    (Dawson Souare Aguero)

    Hoping Coutinho makes it

We don't get Sky in the US though. And any reference I've seen to the record has been he broke the premier league scoring streak record. Not a record in general.

    Ruddy,
    Nyom, Bellerin, Bertrand
    Mahrez, Barkley, KDB, Ozil
    Lukaku(c), Kane, Ighalo

    Starting the week at 90k.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,303 ✭✭✭Mike Ehrmantraut

    Starting with -4 (again)

    De gea
    Bellerin Dier Kolarov
    Kdb Deulofeu Mahrez Ozil
    Lukaku (c) Vardy Kane

    McCarthy Alli Ward Simpson

There was top flight football in England for a long time before Sky and the PL but the current PL marketing tends to ignore anything that happened before 1992. In no other country do team and player records not include achievements before a particular date. Its silly and it annoys me and Johnny Giles a bit. But we digress. ;)

I'm up against you in the cup today, I have to make you favourite with Aguero rotting on my bench!

Liverpool fans do mention pre-92 the odd time!

We have a lot of the same players!

    It's basically:

    Ruddy vs. Mignolet
    Nyom vs. Smalling
    KDB vs. Coutinho
    Kane vs. Vardy
    Ighalo vs. Eriksen
    Lukaku vs. Ozil (captaincies)

It's gonna be very, very close. You've a very impressive team value btw!

I don't disagree. A record is a record and as long as the number of players and goal posts stayed the same size it should stand regardless of commercial changes. It's all business and commerce as far as the premier league see things. So I can see why it's in their interest.

Anyways just read up about Jimmy. Interesting character.
