Its not much of a negative you're right but it is still a negative which is the whole point of the calculation. What other players do is irrelevant this is merely about measuring whether one player scoring is good or bad for you nothing more.

47 is the top 1k average, you should be flying it but lots of Lukaku captainers left (including me)

You're not comparing like with like. If you are counting captaincy of the player in question (effectively two players) you need to also consider the impact of others (or at least the points difference between that player and your chosen captain).

61 with Barkley and Zouma to play and whatever bonuses. Kane letting me down and Butland on the bench, had Ozil as captain but changed to Ighaloo late last night so can't complain, Mahrez was never on my radar as captain.
