For me, Romo is the only likable thing about that franchise. Just a pity he plays for them,

I'd say most Football fans feel the same way as you on that.

They really are a despicable organisation led by a world class arsehole. The collapse of their season has been tremendous craic. Romo I'd pretty likeable so the fact that the collapse is directly because he hasn't been involved is great.

I wouldn't be celebrating the collapse of their season just yet though, they could still win our crappy division, I'm a redskins fan and wouldn't be at all surprised if the cowboys are top of the heap at the end of the season

Yeah, Romo and Witten. I do really like their stadium as well, tbh.

Everything else, I pretty much hate.

Very good (albeit long) article about the Buccaneers mucking up the 1983 (and subsequent drafts as a result) I had never heard or read about this - quite funny in places, A real sliding doors scenario.

Browns ineptness ruining the Ravens' plan to get the top draft pick.

But you know what, I honestly believe Ravens are going to be AFC contenders next year. Injuries have killed them, but with a good draft behind what is already a pretty decent team, they'll be fairly set, I think.

I'd nearly say the same for San Diego, if they weren't you know, San Diego.

Ravens will be missing Steve Smith next year - unless Perriman proves to be elite think they will need to draft wr heavy to compete for playoffs etc

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,475 ✭✭✭✭Knex*

    That's true, actually.

Can't think of any WR's hitting FA this summer, off the top of my head. Pitta's injuries probably mean a TE is in order too.

Who would be a Browns fan? Picked a dud in Manziel, benched him when he reveals himself to be untrustworthy, McCown gets injured.

So they start the season with 2 Qbs vying for the same position and ended the game last night with the 3rd string qb on the pitch, number 1 injured and number 2 in the dog house.

They look so fairly close to being a good side, but keep Brownsing up their draft choices and key decisions. Never going to get out of the blocks.

It's why the movie draft day is so unrealistic. The notion that the Browns would pass up an overhyped first-round bust is just not something the viewing public can swallow.

That and the fact that Roger Goodell gets a cheer from the crowd when he walks on stage. Lord of the Rings was more ****ing realistic.

Thankfully i've not seen it, i think i'd throw more than popcorn at the screen if Goodell was shown receiving cheers from the crowd.

i seen a lot of hawks fan similarly upset when i was over there when McCourty returned their muffed FG at half time, can only imagine how the browns fans were feeling

Even worse that it was against the Ravens, really. The ultimate kick in the balls for them.

I love the first one, where you can hear a guy just laughing and saying "I hate the ****ing Browns". I guess after a certain amount of time being a Browns fan just becomes hilarious, like living inside a Beckett play that never ends.

Maybe im missing something but what's the benefit of putting someone on IR this late, when the extra roster spot doesnt mean much? Like they still have about a 5% shot of making the playoff's, surely this move is prudent if theres even a small chance of him returning?

To be fair, he is right. There is a difference.

If you have a drinking problem, people are willing to help, even if you are in a bad way.

If you don't have a problem, but other people (in your opinion) seem to have a problem. Then you should react like this. Throw a hissy fit, tell the people who were trying to help to go fcuk themselves and go for beer.

    Good riddance

I can see him going back to Texas to the Cowboys for a mid to low draft pick. Perfect fit, and Jones was always high in him. His f u attitude could even fly down there.

I can't see any other organization seeing whats happened in Cleveland and a gm thinking Manziel is going to be "my guy"
