One and the same, no? But whatever, maybe it is over my head if this is purely a technical thing. As long as mods don't get vetted and can be implemented indepenedantly of Bethesda, MC or Valve's approval, all is well.

    Goodbye fun, then.

Its still the Creation engine which is a fair few years old, doubt anyone who can run Skyrim will have issues with the base game.

the modded to fcuk game now is a different story.

    I still giggle at this.

Also any realistic guns since their appearance even sound effects are copyright. Or costumes, power armor, melee weapons and items from other games.

Should I buy Fallout on PS4 or PC? My PC is pretty average; not sure if it would handle it.

what ram and gfx card do you have ? i have a gtx 670 and 8gb if ram and run most things on high for the most part, usually look nicer than my ps4.

Forgive my ignorance, I'm not very knowledgeable about PCs but I have 8gb RAM and in Device Manager under Display Adapters it lists two gfx cards? Intel (R) HD Graphics 4600 and the GTX 770.

I've played a bit of DayZ, it only seems to run smooth on the lowest settings. Could it be a problem with my monitor though?

The 770 should be able to play this at decent settings. I'd go with PC if I were you.

I have a G3258 and the R9 270X 2G MSI Twin Frozr and 4GB of ram. I will be picking up another 4GB of ram in December.
Would my system handle the game even on medium settings or would I be better off picking it up on the Xbox One?

    All preloaded.

Having the Fallout 4 icon sitting on my desktop is a brand new type of hell.

The CPU may hold you back, although this is an old engine so it may be ok. The minimum spec asks for a quadcore which is where you could run into trouble. Devs have a habit of overstating requirements these days though.

Id hold off for day one and look for reports of how it runs on that processor,or if you want it day one get it on Xbox.

If you add the 4GB of ram the rest of the system looks ok,ie a 270X should be fine for it

Depends where you live and where are buying it from. But local time in every region is 0.00am Tuesday. AKA midnight Monday.

I still have no key from CDKeys after using PayPal, in fact I just noticed I didn't get an email confirmation either. I do have a PayPal receipt though.

Where's the first region ? can't we set our STEAM accounts to that location, use a VPN and unlock it that way ?

Yeah got it sorted eventually. The site seemed to be down for while as well which wasn't helping my nerves!

Is it really worth risking seeing your entire library and account banned for this? It has happened.

What does this do exactly? Plays that animation when you hit the icon?

Plays that animation when you hover over the icon, you can move that icon around like any regular shortcut on your desktop. When you click it, it launches Fallout 4 via steam.

I thought it was 00:01? I planned on putting those extra 59 minutes to good use in game...and maybe having my characters face finished.
