Is anyone using a DS4 or xbox controller on PC? I've tried but the controls are way off, square and triangle both make my character jump so I can't reload either, the up button pauses the game etc. Can't change them in the control settings.

Steam store page now says launching today (Nov 9) in approximately an hour, rather than Nov 10. Think we might get it at 11pm?

Hahaha. I was having the exact same problem for the first three hours. Don't use the ds4 windows etc apps. It'll work straight off usb in the game.

I am planning to build a gaming PC for this next year, but I was wondering if I would get away running this with bootcamp on a late 2013 27" iMac. This runs Skyrim at 2560x1440 maxed out no problem so thinking as it's basically the same engine with some tweaks might be good for 1080p anyway.

It's an i5 3.4ghz and GTX 775M 2gb ?

My disk usage has been flip-flopping from almost nothing to upwards of 50MB/s with this, and the ETA changes accordingly. So ultimately, who bloody knows how long it'll take.

All I know is I'm streaming the second it finishes and launches

Have you tried editing the Fallout4Prefs.ini to manually select that res?

Been playing for about 3 hours now. Wow! looks much better than expected. My NVidia GTX 750 ti is starting to show its weakness though. Hopefully some optimization is to come.

Loving the atmosphere so far, very post apocolyptic. Reminiscent of Fallout 3 in vibe rather than NV.

I found myself in a desolate waste land but there is so much scrap lieing around that I can scavange. Crafting is great, I haven’t left my own town yet as I'm having too much fun creating a fort! I think I will build a big ass tower before I go any further.

Sad to turn it off...Oh well, duty calls, up at 6am. I've booked the rest of the week off after tomorrow to er "study".

It's like they took all of the stuff we loved about FO3 and cranked it up to 11. This is definitely looking like a game designed for the fans. Hopefully my first impressions are correct and it stays this good.

Have you a joypad? Try Alt Tab to make sure that Fallout is fully brought to the front.

This is awesome.

Made an arse of the very 1st mission and didnt pick up an item i was told too. It made the fight with someone extremley difficult

Go into gameplay and turn off controller, use your controller to do this. Same happened me.

Thanks guys was panicking there, didn't even think about the joypad because it's not even plugged in!
