    EI just tweeted this:

FR1183 seems to have abandoned the approach at SNN. Listening to ATC there will be low vis ops in place and FR1183 are asking for the weather at Cork.
Must have rolled in fast, my 21:30 updates shows 10km or more vis.

ATC: Sounds like a runway inspection now, but there is fog.

    Touchdown: 1000m
    Midpoint 650m
    Stopend 500m?

certainly must have 2130 vis was 9999 with clouds FEW030

Why wouldn't it? :P They had CAT II the 3rd time round, which has a limit of 300m.

    Current RVR's
    Touchdown 400m
    Mid 400m
    End 550m

Had enough of you being a smartarse for one night, very ironic you pointing out people's 'errors'. Won't have no sympathy from me in future.

Thanks. I'm flying out early to Gatwick via Dublin, reckon there's much chance of me getting caught?

between 0300 and 0900 tomorrow, there will be fairly poor vis at DUB, 400 meters in Fog ,cloud broken 200feet. CATII should handle it fine though.

Tis only a tempo with a prob of 40% though.
It'll be fine in the morning, but remember the sunday evening recently when there was low vis mixed with alot of rugby charters and caused chaos?

the latest Shannon forecast using "BCFG" which simply means Fog patches. also NSC is used- No Significant Cloud. the Ryanair earlier was somewhat unlucky!

40% probability is high, there will be fog in the morning

40% means its more unlikely than likely.

Thank you Mr Maths. Maybe he was talking in aviation terms having worked in it quite a while.

    Ah here, I'm off.

    40% is 40% nothing else.

But it's so bloody obvious, what's the point...stop trolling.

Trouble in paradise between you two lovers, take it elsewhere!

SEN has already been hit by the fog with the 3 EZYs diverted to STN.

    Noticed that, Fog at 100m.

Why would I leave the fourm when there is a perfectly good ignore feature :)

Does anyone know what category of ILS southend has?

Jeez i've been reading it wrong for years, I thought 30% probability was short bursts and 40% meant it changes to a TEMPO as will last for no less than half an hour and no longer than an hour at a time, it will then become a BECMG if it will last over an hour.
