Lads, where'd be the best place to get 400/800/1200 grit Sandpaper tomorrow?

Not sure about your local motor factors but my one sells all the different types of sand paper as I got them when I was cleaning up my Astra. I would think most motor factors do well certainly the ones that mix paint anyway.

Any motor factors should do it.

I recently got 1000 and 2000 grit at Fenton's in Greenogue Business Park.

Anyone know if there's a way to get a quote for a Ford part without walking into a dealership? :pac:

I need a rear door speaker - part no. 3M5T-18808-CE

Is there anything similar to toyodiy.com for Toyota where you can put in a part number and check price, but for Ford?

    Should be about €40.

Should be noted that there are better speakers on higher spec focuss. Maybe go to a breakers and get some off a titanium or ghia instead. The standard ones are pretty nasty.

Breakers it is then! Where would be a good breaker to visit tomorrow morning before I get to DCU?

    Thanks.

I was just looking at them on Google Maps. Will drop in and see. Is it a similar setup to Kilcock Car Dismantlers where you go in and rip bits out or do you have to ask them for stuff and they get it?

Haven't a clue. They're my favourite kind though. Go in for something and come out with 5 things you didn't realise you needed!

Try and get the backing plates as well as I can't remember if they're the same.

Thanks, I'll have a gander anyway.

She's stripped now hai. I'll be flying on the M50 tomorrow... not.

They would actually put me of buying a car even though I'd never be in the back too often. But when you have electric rear windows you can turn them on and off from the front to wind up the passenger in the rear. I also find it handy when your transporting drunks and they fell the need to pull down the windows and shout abuse at people. Being able to turn on and off the rear child locks with the touch of a button from the front is also very handy for both the aforementioned situations.

Also the way the car tells you how many rear seat belts are fastened. Christ looking back on that makes me feel like I own such a family car :pac:

Why would you want kids all they do is dirty your car :pac: ah no in all seriousness I don't think I'd be able for a child for another 10 years I don't know how people turn around and have them at 19 and 20. But sure I suppose each to their own I know it's not always planned too.

I don't think we've ever had them in a car growing up well maybe when I was really young. So I'm not use to them but I was in a work van 2 summers ago and it had them it was a poverty spec sdi caddy. But I'm not going to lie my technique was not too good with them. I obviously understand how they work but just wasn't use to them :pac: so I pulled down the window once after a while pulled it up again and though fcuk that effort and just didn't pull it down again.

That will be forever one of the great Irish mysteries.
Wait till there are reports that a snowflake was spotted 2 counties away. Immediate 30 km/h with 4 way flashers on.

    edit:
and of course beeping, flashing and gesticulating at anyone who passes them.
