Boards motors section is seriously broken atm, when can we expect a fix ?

    All sections are broken.

Logging off until it is fixed.

The forum is useless and annoying.

I think they will put a new hamster in the wheel tomorrow to replace the one that died.

Was going to go up myself as it's been ages! Glad I stayed home so, hate when it's too busy up there. Must find some new routes to take for a bit of a Sunday shpin.

Washed the car today, it wasn't looking too bad, except for the wheels which were in a state. I suppose having the car parked in an underground carpark at all times means it stays cleaner for longer!

Was at Limerick C+C earlier, was more like a cruise. Can't see it lasting there if that's what it's come to.
Still some tasty classics there and nice newer stuff too.

Is it still on in the Eastway Plaza?

Yes, every first Sunday of the month.
Sometimes it's good, sometimes the may be less, but every time I've been at it, I was happy I went.
Don't see any danger for it myself.

I went once for about 10 mins ages ago. Was massively hungover after a wedding and begged my mate to bring me home (he was driving). Never felt so sick in my life. Still feel queasy driving into that car park to this day :o

    Whats it like now?

Getting in some serious tuneage in the Yaris

I'd be more worried about the sh*te speakers in the Yaris than that tape, which is a tune altogether!

Does your Yaris have the door speakers? Mine only had dashboard speakers (which were fcukin tiny) and you could only hear the vocals. Subwoofer gave it some oomph but it still sounded bad.

EDIT: That tape only has one song?:eek::eek:

    5 songs on each side.

Anyone know if there's a way to get a quote for a Ford part without walking into a dealership? :pac:

I need a rear door speaker - part no. 3M5T-18808-CE

Is there anything similar to toyodiy.com for Toyota where you can put in a part number and check price, but for Ford?

I've never driven up the Sally gap or anywhere around there I must be the only one here that hasn't. It's up on the of the list for next summer or even Christmas holiday. I was only thinking there recently there is so many great places to drive in Ireland that I haven't been I hope to change that next summer.

You don't need to wait for the summer or Christmas. Wake up early on a Saturday and Sunday with the sun shining and hit the road :p

Ye I suppose it's probably a 2 hour drive from Kilkenny ? so I'd probably make a day out of it. Sounds like it would be a nice day out with decent weather.

Wasn't a completely wasted day. New Oil Filter and 4 Litres of 10W40 went into the sump..... and it seems happy with that.

I wish I could, they're all closed at this time. I would have popped down already. I just don't feel like driving down tomorrow and being told "3 hundred fiddy Ted" :D

I was never in a ford parts department buying parts where I felt I wasn't being screwed. I bought almost all OE parts for my focus and down to filters they were very expensive and even at that I was getting 20% discount. Then when I got my golf the vw parts department felt like a pound shop compared to ford all the parts were so so cheap in comparison. With Renault the parts are slot more expensive probably the same or even worse than ford.

Worst case scenario is I'll pull into a breakers yard, kick (literally) the door card off and drill a replacement out

    It's still a car park. :D
And they do a very reasonable breakfast roll. Good for that hangover, though by tghe sounds of it you were beyond a greasy roll stuffed full of dead pig products. :p
