    Anywho's, from this...

    To this...

Have yellow fog light covers to fit too, but not sure about it as they just stick directly onto the lens, so might look for some vinyl to use instead...

I wouldn't bother with yellow foglight lenses tbh. I don't think they'll look right.
What I would do if I had a silver one is LamimX the headlights fogs and grille.

    Yeah, but what colour?

Tint or gunsmoke. Probably gunsmoke unless it's crazy dark and affects the lights too much.

Maybe, here's a pic of a silver with the yellow fogs, with a sports grill too, which is on my list sometime...

only really works because it has the different bumper.
Trust me, it won't look right on standard bumper.

The mesh grille is a must-have IMO, but a tinted standard grille would be something a bit different.

Gunsmoke and a sports grille would eman up the front alot alright.

Well I don't fancy trying to get a different bumper!
    Can you tint headlights legally?

I could tint the grill and fogs I suppose.

I think it's the same bumper it just has an agressive aftermarket splitter attached

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 73,291 ✭✭✭✭colm_mcm

You'd be more likely to be pulled over for your illegal number plate in fairness

splitter looks like a Type R one just not painted, but I may be wrong.

That bumper is from a type-s. Yours is a 5 door so different bumper. I wouldn't be fussed on changing color of lights but as you say each to their own.

You could colour code the black plastic around the car

On the bumpers. The 5 door and 3 door have a different style bumper. The black plastic one above is from the three door. There also then was the "image pack". Not sure if it was available on the 5 door but the bumper above is from it. It also had a different rear defuser.

the 7er is actually a much more handsome car than the merc imo, much better proportioned. the merc is a bit shonky looking.

first wash in a month, maybe 3500 miles ish for me. i said it before and i'l say it again, the grey hides the dirt unreal, aside from the wheels, from ten steps back it looks clean.

also, sound to "Chrisaaaah" on here for sorting me out with this maaaaaaad clean box type thing. always nice to pick up little bits like this, makes the car a bit unique.
