Thanks, doesn't seem to have done the job but was worth trying!

It has to be a problem on three's end so imo. I was a few days waiting for 4g access btw, how long has it been for you? Have they told you it's activated?

My phone has been awful the last while, one day battery and constant drops in signal.

I am with Meteor, anyone else having this issue, or any ideas?

Ive always enabled encryption before i wipe it, Anything that may remain is covered under encryption. I believe that is the recommended method, just wiping it does not in fact wipe everything. there is some remnants remaining.

    Upgraded to Cyanogen OS 12.

Happy with it, apart from the 2hours less screen on time I get compared to Cyanogen OS 11.

Happy with it in what way? New features? If so how are they better than an extra two hours screen time?

Can anyone recommend somewhere that will replace the screen/digitizer, and does anyone have any idea how much it costs?

Truecaller, is the only new feature that I use (Not really use, just enabled it).

Im happy because its more secure (e.g. not vulnerable to Heartbleed/Stagefright, etc). Im a bit security paranoid tbh, so I rate that highly. Also, I like the new look of it compared to what I had because I was getting sick of it.

Same. On the fence about upgrading though. Don't want to lose any battery performance.

I updated twice on 5.1.1 now. Seems to be grand so far but I'll give it a week before I comment.

My OPO is on the blink unfortunately. The top half of the screen doesn't seem to be responding to most things. E.g. on whatsapp i can only open messages at the bottom half of the screen. Any idea if this is fixable? Would a factory reset do anything by any chance?

Worth a try. I'd also try capture a video of the problem, if you are under warranty they will ask you for this. Even if you do the reset id get the video and open a ticket immediately

It's worth a try, if that doesn't work do a clean flash if Oxygen. It was a known software issue when CM12 was first released but it's been fixed in updates since

Cheers guys. I've never flashed anything to it, not the most technologically gifted.

I'll have to wait until the battery drains, unfortunately the power off command is on the top half of the screen :D Which leads me to think I may not be even able to do the factory reset if I can't use the commands to reset it! The odd thing does work for example I can use the search function on whatsapp which is on the top half of the screen - I've devised a roundabout way to get into my chats!

Do your factory reset in recovery mode when it's not booted to Android

Having a weird problem with my opo.
My back button isn't working. Have tried with the on screen buttons and same thing.

Took a couple of reboots/power offs but all seems good now.

Having an annoying issue with my OPO. It seems to disable my Wi-Fi during sleep, despite the fact I have "Keep Wi-Fi on during Sleep" set to "Always", so I never get any notifications until I tap the screen and it reconnects. Anybody having this issue? Using CM 12.1-YOG4PAS1N0

Seems to be an issue with last update, I used to have this issue when I was on CM nightlies during the summer but they fixed it. I guess it's back.

Ah OK, at least it seems common enough and they are aware of the issue. Will keep an eye on that ticket, thanks.

Does anyone have trouble sending mms on the Vodafone network? Looked up a solution but the only one I can find is using the Vodafone device guide that doesn't have this model as an option.

Did you try switching your default SMS app to Hangouts - and then sending the MMS?
That worked for me when i was using the Oneplus One - wouldn't send using the regular Messaging app.

    I would counter that with,

Why the hell would anyone be using MMS still.

    No1 reason Cost
No2 reason speed and image size
    No3 reason cost

Use one of the other countless methods to send images, but shoot MMS in the head.

    Very good point actually.
Only reason i've had to use MMS is when sending to someone who isn't on viber, whatsapp, FB Messenger, Hangouts etc.
