    I love it.

Best twitter comeback since the boxer went to the difficulty of finding someone's name and street in the UK who had been trolling him endlessly, and kept live updating as he went from door to door looking for him, while the troll desperately tried to take it all back! :pac:

NFL.com and the Rams website should let that be Ayers' profile picture on his bio/profile pages. :D

Remember when we were talking during the Titans game about how Favre's first throw in the NFL was an INT?

Well his first completion was to himself :pac:

This guy does some cool videos.

    Bias one first, LT.

Edit: 4:07 - Was fair catch a thing back then? If not, who the hell doesn't call it with LT steaming down field at you!

Bad news coming out of Levi Stadium unfortunately. Looks like the 49ers did not leave all their security problems behind at candlestick. Last season a fan suffered brain damage after being attacked in a toilet at levis, while people stood around recording the incident for facebook or whatever.

There was more problems at the away game in Phoenix. Then last night apparently a Vikings fan was attacked in the car park.

Makes me think twice about wearing 49ers gear at away games in the NFL.

I didn't. Hard to imagine Brian Urlacher looking like that.

As a columnist I was reading pointed out, he had a pretty good game, and is in fact now our signal caller on D. But he just doesn't have a football brain, an ability to adapt in the moment, that a really good linebacker has, and that prevents you looking like Sylvester jumping backwards and forwards trying to catch Tweety-Bird and ending up wrapped up in knots.

The Ulna and Radius bone structures seems intact and if they were badly shattered, the surgeon probably would have amputated above the wrist (Carpals). Hard to know from that pic the extent of the damage done to the bones in the hand - Metacarpals & Phalanges, but the nerve damage must be absolutely catastrophic. And even if the best hand specialist in The States rebuilt the hand brilliantly. A lot of that nerve damage would be irreparable and it would have a huge impact on hand functionality. At the very least, I could never see him getting back to the level he was at and I would be very surprised if that isn't a career ending injury for him.:(

Horrible to see any player getting a nasty injury. But for something so horrific to happen during his recreation time, just makes it all the more tragic. It's just another reminder for me why it's wise to stay well clear of all things fireworks and exploding.

Personally if I was a professional athlete I'd be steering well clear of handling fireworks or any other explosives for that matter. I feel sorry for the guy as his career is probably over but he has a duty of care to himself to not put himself in that situation regardless of whether it was a freak accident or he was acting the boll*cks with them. Some initial reports suggested that there was a lot of messing going on. Some Giants sources have said he's done for the year.

That tweet is from the 6th of July, and the account barely has any followers. Don't know what to make of it now, tbh.

Just got news I'm going to a cooperate event in Dallas in March and Tom Brady and Emmit Smith are guest speakers. Apparently it's costing $120k for both of them to speak.

I doubt it's a real picture. The likes of reddit, TMZ, deadspin etc. would have carried it if it was.

Pretty much what I was thinking. Had a quick browse of Reddit and found nothing about it.

Each, or separately? Apparently Alex Ferguson makes up to 150,000 sterling an hour for public speaking which is about $225,000, so its not too big a fee given their reputations.

    Well jealous of ya, though!!

Think that's for the both of them. I went to one with Ferguson last year. It was very good. He's a really good story teller. Really down to earth. Brady is supposed to be brilliant too.

I completely agree with you on that. As a professional athlete with earnings in the millions of dollars. You really have an obligation to your family and your team, not to engage in reckless activities which could compromise your career and the future security of your family. For me handling or messing around with fireworks, qualifies as such a reckless activity.
