Just smashed my second screen in 2 months! So much for the Orzly tempered glass screen protector being the best about. Had the phone a year and didn't drop it once. Dropped twice, two smashed screens. Sake.

Ah. Just when I was about to purchase the Orzly...

Sorry to hear about your screen!

I got this case and find it excellent. Have it on the phone for months without any issues. Only a tenner too if you don't want to spend a fortune

5 Pack screen protectors for £1.50. I'm still on the first one. Actually I think I've lost the order 4 now :)

A tempered glass protector on it's own will absolutely not protect the screen, you need to get a decent case aswell. I've gotten great use out of the Orzly in combination with the diztronic TPU case (both extra protection one and the regular one). On my second Orzly after my phone fell off a table.

If you're looking for screen protectors Rhino Shield are the way to go imo

    http://www.evolutivelabs.com/pages/rhinoshield

Have bought one for my Nexus 4, OPO, and my GFs Moto G

    Should I upgrade to CM12?

Im on CM11 and have no problems.

Just curious if those on CM12 would recommend updating?

Were the initial issues with the CM12 update resolved by another update?

Should I expect any issues if I do upgrade to CM12?

    Thanks

I'm on CM12 and have 0 issues. Then again, I have never had issues since day one when I got the phone. Anything in particular you want to know?

I see from the OP forum that update has been pulled by Cyanogen. Anyone manually install it? There are posts from people detailing a lot of bugs.

I'm still on the 12.1 nightlies. Was considering flashing the OTA but they were recommending a full wipe.
The nigthlies are really stable now so I'm surprised they let through the bugs.

Nightlies and this are different ROMs according to XDA that's why you need to wipe. From what I've read the problem is coming from a baseband upgrade that will not install from newer versions of TWRP. You need to be using TWRP 2.8.6 for it to work correctly, or Fastboot the modem file manually if you are using TWRP 2.8.7.

I had problems when I first updated to CM 12 but these were quickly fixed (poor battery life, phantom touches etc.)

Hi, I picked up this phone last week and very impressed with it. I had a HTC one M7 which was great and I really liked the keyboard on it so I went to download a HTC one keyboard but I'm getting ads popping up.
Basically I'm looking for a good keyboard with arrow keys. Throw me a few ideas.

I installed the 304meg update. I haven't given it a good once over yet but it seems fine so far...

Any improvement on battery life? I found upgrading from CM11 to 12 had a negative impact on battery life.

Anyone know where I'd get a one plus one charger or would any 2 amp charger do?

BlackBerry Playbook charger is great but harder to find (it was only about 3€ when these came out first). I got mine on amazon.fr

Anybody running Exodus having issues? Loved this rom and was flashing nightlies weekly. Not so happy now as I'm getting an odd reboot, slight lag and a funny issue where either Spotify or google music may start randomly playing in my pocket!

I'd even revert to an older version if I knew which one was the most stable? under pressure in work so haven't time to trawl the xda forums. Thanks!

Was on 14th nightly with no issues and now on 24th nightly with no issues.

It's probably far to early to tell for sure but I think the battery life is better. Right now I'm looking at 40% remaining which is positive but there was a period today where I was still on CM12 so...

Any notice in changes to your battery life?

What "screen on" times are you getting?

Did you factory reset the phone and then install it OTA?

    Is your phone rooted?

    Thanks Danger781!

Searched the thread for "sultan" and got nothing. This is the ROM I'm running and it's great in terms of battery and performance.

    On GPS YMMV though.

Upgraded to the COS12.1 just now from CM12s.

I downloaded the full ROM from here https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/update-cos-12-1-yog4pas1no-bugs-discussion-thread.349560/

Used Flashify to downgrade TWRP to 2.8.6.0 (you have to do this as later versions can't update your baseband).

Flashed the ROM without full wipe and wiped cache/dalvik after.

    Install SuperSU when prompted.

When the phone reboots make sure your baseband is version is 00241

If you have lost your root access, download Super SU from here https://download.chainfire.eu/696/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip and flash using TWRP.

    Thanks Danger781!

I have never really monitored battery life because in all honesty I have never felt the need. The phone lasts me from when I get up in the morning at 6am until late enough into the evening with my normal usage.
I don't know how to check screen on time either!

No factory reset. Got the notification that the update was available OTA so I went with that. I haven't needed to factory reset since I got the phone about a year ago.

Yes I am rooted, but otherwise stock.

Yeah, battery life still appears to be **** following the update.
