    Fantasy Goal Assist

    From Summer 2013, Opta have started to collect a range of other assists used by fantasy football, but also available to clients to determine their own definition should they wish

    Heavily deflected pass
    Shot on target saved, rebound scored
    Shot blocked rebound scored
    Shot hit woodwork rebound scored
    Penalty won
    Free kick won by foul
    Free kick instigated by forced handball
    Instigating own goal through shot/pass

    Raging that Rooney didn't take it first time. A difference of 7 points with a Memphis assist, and that's not taking into account the effect on baps.

    The rage that only FPL can bring is well and truly back!

    Utd on top since the goal, but not setting the world alight. Spurs absolutely toothless. They were the better team til the goal, though, but haven't done anything since.

    Assists are awarded to the player from the goal scoring team, who makes the final pass before a goal is scored. An assist is awarded whether the pass was intentional (that it actually creates the chance) or unintentional (that the player had to dribble the ball or an inadvertent touch or shot created the chance).

    I think that makes it a Rooney assist

    I forgot how annoying this game can be, as a Spurs fan the fact that my captain got the assist softened the blow somewhat, when it looked like I wasn't even getting that:mad:

    It was when Futureguy said he wouldn't get it that I got worried, all opinions are equal but some are more equal than others it seems:P

    An own goal is only worth -2 BPS so it's not that unbelievable. He's made a few tackles and gotten a cross or two in. Won't last anyway.
