Such poor awareness of where the ball will end up, from Kildare players

Radio Kerry reports that JOD has a dislocated shoulder.

Based on video evidence of it being put back in by the medical team.

If we could even get to a competitive 8 that'd be some progress, 16 is a pipe dream. Which makes you wonder why there's so much fuss about changing the structure of the earlier stages of the championship - you're going to end up with the same six teams at the end anyway.

Personally I think the All Ireland Series should be just that - a series. Quarters, semis and finals played as a best of three like a shortened version of US sports play-offs so that the top teams get a run of games playing against each other instead of wasting the summer playing virtual training matches.

Nothing like that will happen because the "Weaker counties" apparently want their big chance against the top teams.

The weaker counties in reality are wasting the top teams time and should only be allowed to play them if they are actually good enough and prove so by getting promoted.

If the league was played during the summer and you had playoffs at the end it would be a much more exciting championship than the current set up but there is absolutely no chance of that happening due to self interest on individual counties behalf and this daft notion that every teams deserves a chance against a stronger county.

I'm from Offaly and I'd prefer we played counties of similar standard on a regular basis in the summer (which is when 90% of football should be played) than getting hammered by the bigger counties should we ever meet them.I was half relieved when we lost against Longford this year as it meant we avoided the inevitable humiliation against Dublin and wasting a bucket load of money on going through the motions supporting a lost cause.

Three times in a row Kerry walk through the Kildare defence untouched.

    Another goal, this is embarrassing.

You could say the same for most sports.
Only gets really competitive at last 8 or 16

Hold on, this is GAA, so everyone has to moan about the same sh1t every weekend.

    Also.
Kerry should be divided into two or three teams, blah blah, same crap.

I reckon Kildare might be happy enough to see the back of Croker Park this year

It looked like it popped alright when the physio was holding it. Nasty.

Feel sorry for Kildare, they aren't up to the pace of this at all.

Did the Kildare defenders go home in the last few minutes?

Spot on - there will come a time again when Offaly are one of the top teams but it is more likely to come about as a result of a gradual progress from beating teams of a similar standard rather than the notion that if you get nine successive thrashings off Dublin you'll beat them the tenth time you play them.

Sligo scored 2-11 in that game. Something which, as a Mayo man, gives me worries

Can we just have an All-Ireland next year where we don't let any side outside of Dublin, Mayo, Kerry, Donegal and Monaghan know it's happening so their feelings don't get hurt?

Ditto the Munster championship. This Kildare team beat Cork. Who were better than everyone else in Munster

    Except Kerry unfortunately

This is just a disgrace from Kildare. Fans paying to come in and they could not give a damn how many scores they give up. No defence at all, Kerry doing whatever they want. It's like U16's playing backs and forwards at a training session where only 10 lads turn up.
