Maybe I should share some other stuff I've encountered with you:D:pac:. A guy was using a nail gun in the garden on some panel fencing and decided to nail gun his left testicle to his left thigh as you do. It wasn't an industrial sized nail gun, but a 1 & 1/2 inch nail is still no laughing matter. I suppose I'll leave it there before the site ban arrives.

    Very interesting findings from @JoeGoodberry.

He found that over the past 2 seasons, the Bengals played 18 "common" opponents (opponents that they have played the season before or twice in the same year) and 16 "uncommon" opponents (opponents that they haven't played in 2 or more years).

Look at the difference in Dalton:

    https://twitter.com/JoeGoodberry/status/624549361624682496

Some of the uncommon opponents they have beaten include the Broncos, Packers, Patriots and Saints, so it's not as if they're beating rubbish as uncommon opponents. 4 of their opponents in the playoff games (they are 0-4) were common.

The auld lad is a retired gp, but when he was younger he worked in Vincent's for a while. One night a guy came in choking on something, and there was nobody around to help, no equipment on hand, and the heimlich wasn't doing anything. Long story short, he had to rip some loose ventilation duct out of the wall (can't remember the story exactly, think it was ventilation duct), ram it down the guys throat, and suck as hard as he could to get whatever he was choli g on out of him... along with a heap of saliva, vomit, and God only knows what else.

Saved the guys life, but... Uuuuuggghhhh.

Junior Gallette released by the Saints. He counts $20m+ against the cap in 2016!

Josh freeman released by the Dolphins.

    What went wrong with Freeman

I remember seeing his first NFL snaps in Wembley against the Patriots. Brian Hoyer played garbage time too and looked good!

Freeman was a 1st round pick at pick 17, Stafford and Sanchez the Qbs taken before him. He threw over 4000 yds in a season though they finished 7-9 and from looking promising his career has gone to hell.

Cut by the Vikings, Giants and Dolphins and surely that's it now. Rumours the Cardinals will give him a chance but it looks like it's over

I do read online he misses meetings and coaches hate his attitude but that's not really confirmed

But what really went wrong with Josh Freeman was Josh Freeman.

The NFL does a lot of things I don't like and a lot things that are stupid but this makes me pretty angry. I mean WTF are they thinking?

I now the HOF is not the same as the NFL but still, this is crazy.

Read that a day or two back. It merits an outright boycott if you ask me, but the real shame here is it will only cause disgruntlement among some, and will be forgotten about around 48 hours after the inductions are done. Nothing short of disgusting, but who ever accused the NFL/HOF of having values? They just demand that of their employees (or at least to not get caught otherwise, say like in an elevator). It's funny and depressing when the guys at the top are often held to a different, and significantly lower, standard than those below them.

That's beyond ridiculous. I'd hope they will change their minds if not the other HOFs should boycott

Glad I'm not the only one who finds the whole junior seau HOF mess a disgrace. I mean his daughter should be allowed give a speech that she says would be the one her father would have given had he been alive. Hope common sense prevails and she is allowed to speak.

Pretty inspirational, and something I had never heard before - Jamaal Charles has what must be a very strong learning disability, and took part in the 1999 Special Olympics (dylsexia, dyspraxia - which I have a very mild bit of - and ADD/ADHD are not eligible, after a quick Googling)... http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/25250806/watch-jamaal-charles-gives-touching-speech-at-special-olympics

If he were a few years younger, he could have been in the Dublin one. :o

I hope his time in the NFL is done, tbh.

I don't agree with how Galette has done it at all, and maybe it's normal for all teams to train so far away from their base, but if the Saints are really training in West Virginia which is where Payton's girlfriend is from then it should be questioned IMO. The Saints website suggests that they have split camps in the past but stayed in NO from 2009-2013, starting to go to WV in 2014, which coincidentally is not long after he started dating his girlfriend per Google. The Saints then had their joint worst season since 2007 in 2014. Maybe a coincidence, maybe he took his eye of the ball a bit - who knows.

If Payton has turned up drunk to a meeting(s) then that's a disgrace.

As I said, not the right way to do it and he has made himself look even worse, but he might raise some valid points which won't be listened to now.

There's a lot of rumours around Peyton and pill abuse, be it molly or vicodin, when you go digging. And I mean a lot.

Lots of references to it over on Reddit.

Could be; if he goes for the Saints GM or ownership then it probably is. He comes over as nothing short of fascinatingly unstable, and coaches will not want to have him talking about their secrets or private lives on Twitter like he has with Payton. With how stigmatised domestic abuse/violence against women has become since the Ray Rice video emerged, just a few shots at the other two main guys involved in the hiring process, and he is done imo.

who's the panthers number one rb at the mo Jonathan stewart? oher can run block if they try to pass more than run with him as a starting lt cams durability is going to be well and truly tested.

The Seau family issued a statement on this yesterday and I'm delighted to see them exposing the HOF bullshít....
"The Seau family appreciates the overwhelming support for Sydney Seau to be able to accept Junior’s induction into the Hall of Fame live and in her own words. Unfortunately, the Hall of Fame is unwilling to reverse its decision despite communicating to the family earlier this year that Sydney would be able to speak at the ceremony. Contrary to the most recent statement by the Hall of Fame, the family does not support the current policy that prevents family members from delivering live remarks on behalf of deceased inductees. However, the Seau family does not want this issue to become a distraction to Junior’s accomplishments and legacy or those of the other inductees. The Seau family never intended to use the Hall of Fame as a platform to discuss the serious mental health issues facing the NFL today which are most appropriately addressed in a legal forum. The Seau family looks forward to celebrating Junior’s extraordinary accomplishments at the Hall of Fame."
    http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/seau-family-statement--not-happy-hall-of-fame-preventing-sydney-from-speaking-003113085.html

You can be absolutely certain that the NFL have closely collaborated with the HOF, in prevent Junior's daughter from speaking. They are undoubtedly terrified that she would bring up the massive impact concussions and related head injuries had on Junior's and their lives. The last thing they want is to have their failure to protect players and putting their health first, back on the agenda again.
