General FPL Chat 2015/16

Ok so I've tinkered with my team again. I'm too much of a pussy to leave Hazard out. I would have happily gone for Costa but with Falcao there I'd imagine if they are leading after 60 mins he'll come off.

My team:

GK: Pantilimon 5.0,
DF: Azpilicueta 6.0, Smalling 6.0, Bellerin 5.5, Morgan 4.5
MD: Hazard 11.5, Silva 10.0, Walcott 9.0, Depay 8.5, Ritchie 6.0
FD: Rooney 10.5 (C)

Subs: Hamer 4.0, Ighalo 5.0, Hooper 4.5, Baker 4.0

Gonna rotate between Morgan/Ighalo/Ritchie depending on the games. Soon as I see cheap teams doing well I'll downgrade.

Considering going 3-5-2 for the first few weeks and then wildcarding when things become clearer. Currently on:

Myhill/Hennessy
Koscielny (or Azpi) Morgan Collocini O'Shea Richards
Fabregas Silva Cazorla Henderson Cabaye (or Bolasie)
Costa Rooney Ighalo

Main worry is not having Hazard but going with Fab first last season and then switching to Haz worked a treat.

Meanwhile, Alex McCarthy has undergone a medical at Palace and is expected to complete a £3m move to Selhurst Park.
QPR keeper McCarthy has a buy-out clause which can be activated after relegation as he is keen to get back in the top flight.
Palace are expected to push the deal through as final negotiations drag on for the ex-Reading keeper who has been called up by England in the past.
It could mean that Wayne Hennessey moves from Crystal Palace to West Brom.

I can't decide whether it makes him more or less of a fantasy asset

I'm a 'Pool fan and have my doubts, Benteke thrives on crosses and Liverpool had the least amount of crosses of any team in the league last year. Benteke's passing stats are very poor too, so in a team that loves short sharp passes he may find it difficult. I hope I'm wrong of course

but from a FPL viewpoint I think he's fairly risky, at least starting off anyway

Best shout for getting into the Saints team? Yoshida at 4.5m in defence is a nice option?

Thoughts about Adam or Walters as 4th mid? Both proven pl players but pretty rough starting fixtures.

If Adam is guaranteed to play then he's a huge FPL player, I think it's fair to say that he's fairly fixture proof as well because he's always gonna try his luck and as such a superb striker of the ball all he needs is a glimpse of goal. I haven't thought about my team yet but he'll be in my thoughts certainly.
Just looked at his fixtures and I wouldn't agree that they are tough to start with, I like the look of them until week 11 besides Arsenal away on week 5.

I might begin to tinker in the next few days, I'll begin by trawling through the last few pages of Rate my Team thread.

Adam has a ridiculously good points per 90 minutes, but he hasn't played more than 2000 minutes in the PL since 2011/12 and is always good for a red card.

Yep. Especially with Bertrand out injured. He'll definitely start the first few games IMO if no other signings are made for defence.

I have him in my team but I would imagine they're on the hunt for at least one defender right now and he is likely to be first out if someone does come in.

Do they not still have Bony and Dzeko and only play one striker? Plus Aguero will be getting a run toward the end of games to get him back to fitness.
