Sure is. All flights for DUB have been pushed into a hold. ATC explaining why and saying to aircraft to expect three turns in the hold.

Known as "The Azores Glider" apparently.

A Ryanair looking to make a diversion I think

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 484 ✭✭bronn

From the plane. Smoke in the cabin has dissipated. Smell too. But they're coming in heavy and will stop on the runway for fire crews.

ET: Down safe. Fire crews inspecting now.

Azores Glider, What a plane, that was one of the first air crash investigation episodes I ever saw. That and the Gimli Glider episode are great! Glad they got down safe!

With so many in the hold I'm surprised there's no diversions yet.

    Edit : Spoke too soon.

    RWY 16 in use?
