09:00 FR24 has now lost the plot ( ha! ) but there's an Avanti F-HCPE currently in the descent over Enniskillen, looks like it is heading to Donegal

Eastern JS41 G-MAJY also inbound to the same airport.

I did I just see an Antonov 124 head out towards the Irish Sea over Dublin literally 5 minutes ago? Nothing on FR to confirm it, looked absolutely massive!

Quite possibly was, wouldn't have been too high so would of obviously looked larger than something at 30,000+.

Just downloaded plane finder, was indeed the GAF 340

I'd say so, there's also some.nice pics of the A340 on the Shannon Airport page for anyone Interested.

I'm still around, just a little busy and this thread is usually slow during the summer.

Something to watch out for later, an easterly wind and low cloud/visibility at NOC.

I haven't had a chance to process and post my ****s of her landing in Dublin yet, typical Irish weather it poured down as she was on short finals.

I thought I posted SHOTS not something else

That's the second one into Belfast this morning, both using the same sequence of flight numbers.

Wonder what's happening.... often associated with the oil rig work down at H&W.

CAT 2 is great in this weather, unless you're downgraded to CAT 1 only due to the auto pilot being inop for 2 days:mad:

What happened there? EIN had to go around as the Air Canada didn't vacate the runway in time.
Then they just returned to the terminal.
    Blown cigarette lighter?

Lol CAT3 is something we only read about in the ATPL manuals!

Only rated for CAT2 - no auto land no auto throttle.

A/P was inop for 2 days, 8 sectors in total and downgraded to Cat 1 only. Wx was perfect yesterday but just above Cat 1 limits the night before. It's what we get paid for after all:D
