Handed over to London control now

FL220 seems to me too high for 'pressurization problem', the oxygen would still deploy. Last time I saw that was a flight that quickly descended to FL090.

Edit2: mixed information online as to whether an ETOPS twin proceurally has to descend after a single pack pressurisation failure. Seems to depend upon airline and regulation authority. Technically they can maintain cruising altitude using only one pack but sometimes desceend to FL2xx in case the second pack fails.

Yep, Ryanair lease a few Air Explores during the peak summer season, they did that last year too. What's interesting is that Air Explores are 737-400's as opposed to RYR's NG 737-800's

They're flown by Air Explore flight crew and Ryanair cabin crew operate the cabin crew end of thing, lovely aircraft on the inside but the flight deck is showing its age

Sounds like a footy charter for the qualifiers, lots of teams flying around at the moment. Dundalk are due to go to Belarus tomorrow so perhaps Denim is taking them.

    Aha there it is:
    Minsk Denim DNM7121 14 Jul 08:00

what sort of cost would they be looking at for that?

always wondering how much charter flights are, but nobody on here seems to know much about them!

Looking at the forecast for Thursday there is an Easterly breeze with Mist/Fog/Low Cloud, Knock may have a few problems.

always wondering how much charter flights are, but nobody on here seems to know much about them!

In the past I've seen £9,000 per hour for B733 ( Titan pre-booked charter ) including fuel / crew / insurance / airport charges but that has to be multiplied not only for flight hours but also positioning. Plus hotel costs if the crew stay-over.

An F100 would be a bit less than that but it's still serious money.

Still, probably works-out better value for a large group travelling than trying to arrange 80 seats on airlines ( plus bag fees! ) and definitely more convenient than schlepping between several flights to reach an out-of-the-way destination.
