For those thinking Mendes "won" the stare down, look again. I think it was oddly muted given the circumstances. However, watch how far backwards Conor forces Chad. He has him passed the scales at one point.

About the Fire Marshall kicking everyone out because there were too many people there and it's the craziest event he's ever been apart of? :pac:

What did u want him to say exactly?

Has done many hours of media build up the last 2 weeks. Should he have new material for ever one.

    Get a grip.

You're easily wound up for someone with a user name like that.

Lighten up, it was tongue in cheek. But for someone that is supposed to be such a great talker and hype man, I don't think he done much to hype the fight in the presser or the weigh-in.
He seems distant almost. Maybe the occasion is getting to him?

unreal, chad deffo felt the lack of crowd reaction ....it was fine when they booed but then they ignored him altogether :)....when he got the mic it seemed everyone was chatting away to themselves

It becomes a catchweight fight if the opponent of the person who doesn't make weight agrees, and the person who doesn't make weight forfeits a percentage of their fight purse.

You could hear Conor calling Chad a midget at the weigh in. I hate that Faber guy, what was he doing hanging out around Conor's room?

There's an agreement for the fight to go ahead but Stephens loses 20% of his pay.

Or maybe he's been answering the same questions a million times and now it's fight time he's in the zone and the time for talk and hype is over.

and another question if you( or anyone doesnt mind) ? forfeits it to whom? fightr or ufc? and by purse do ya mean total earning ppv + ufc fee?

To the other fighter, his purse would be his fee to make weight and show up to fight. Normally fighters dont get PPV earnings, only when its a massive championship bout..in which case they have to nail weight so its not a factor. If they don't the fight is downgraded from a title fight.

Is it just me or did Conor remind you of Rust Cohle a bit? Maybe it was just his frailness

The fighters will get a fee, the lower ranked will prob not get a cut of the PPV, Stephens will be on around 30k show money and another 30k win bonus, 20% of his show money will now got to his opponent.

He is also ruled out of winning any of the bonuses for the event

Never did like Faber much, jock frat boy vibe from him. I like the way McGregor ruffled his feathers a little there. Tip of the hat is pure Pro Wrestling, I could watch that 100 times

He sounds completely out of it. I hope he recovers for tomorrow.

I actually like Faber for doing it.

As I said about the Embedded vid, he's just giving McGregor some back!

Obviously a very hard weight cut for McGregor and that's why Faber was tickling his belly!

The way Fabers been acting this week no doubt butt chin was looking for a reaction, Probaly something about conors weight going by the start.
