I'm holding out for a dab radio for next to nothing after missing them the last time around and some grass seed.

I got cheap grass seed before in dealz and other places. Unfortunately despite throwing tons of it on again and again , half the seeds didnt sprout and it was patchy and bad quality. You cant beat an unfortunately expensive but good quality grass if you ask me.

At 1.49 I might give it a go.

I still like to try a better brand myself, all the better if I can get it on an offer, which I had in the past in B&Q, mine didn't sprout like you say but I think that was more to it being kept for ages or possibly poor preparation of the soil on my part, probably needs more than me scratching the surface with a rake.

    Tesco Naas

Where in naas was this Isle? Couldt see anything like that this morning.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 319 ✭✭robk24

It's the very last aisle on the right.
Right in front of the electrical customer service desk.
Picked up one of the Apple care packs. Lots left.
    Cheers!

Corrected for a fussy poster! ;-)

Guys- it is an aisle- not an isle........

    Obligatory bargain alert-

    Cosmopolitan (August Issue)
Full size copy- 3.28 (the 'Travel' Copy- with half sized pages is 6.58- the full sized one is supposed to be the same price, but it appears they're discounting it for some reason). Found- Celbridge and Maynooth.

Note- it comes with a free lip gloss or mascara- the lip gloss apparently is quite nice- the mascara is to be avoided.

Drogheda Tesco (off the M1) are clearing out some beer and cider stock. Tins of Bud, Carling, bottles of Tiger, Peroni, Carlsberg and hotch potch of others, all 50c. Not out out of date either. In my younger days I would have just pushed the whole crate to the checkout.

it was marked at 5, you paid 39, they refunded 68 so in essence they paid you 29 to take it, no?

It must have been 39.99. Have the receipt in the car. They handed me €70 cash a 50 and 20. So they paid me 30.01 to take it :)

I thought you were supposed to get a refund and double the difference?

Double the difference was plenty enough in this case though.

just double the difference. Rocks when you get overcharged on an item that was 80% off...
