Cessena Citation from Shannon does u-turn over Anglesey . Looks to be heading to DUB

Looks to be gone off FR24 now. So must be an error

These light aircraft lose signal once they drop below a certain altitude/ go into a low coverage area.

Eh .... Strange question but how would anyone know or does anybody here know what plane Taylor Swift is coming in on today?

    { 10 year old daughter holds breath and crosses fingers and toes in hope}

This is Taylor's flight. Blocked on Flightradar, not so on Planefinder.

AM3 (Aero Mexico) diverting to SNN (MEX-CDG) with a Mayday call due to possible fire in cargo hold.
10mins until arrival. Expected approach for RWY06.

    Aircraft: Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.

Emergency vechicles to follow aircraft down RWY06 on the Left Hand side only, due to possible fire on right hand side.

Got a visual on it, nothing unusual.

AM3 seems very confident of a fire and an emergency. He is asking for a remote way to unload the passengers whatever that means.

    Why may that be?

AM3 touched down very fast, like about 150 knots, according to fr24. Is this a unusual speed for landing? Normally i see planes come in at like 130-120 knots

There was a slight tailwind which would increase it by a few knots.

He wants to deplane them normally via stairs not via emergency slides but remotely with firecrews in attendance.

He is now taxi to stand 42

Not taking any chances with B788 fire warnings.

Been like this for a while now, could the fire (if there is one) have damaged the ads-b or is it just another FR24 glitch.

Complete FR24 glitch. ADB-S radar isn't of the best coverage at SNN so sometimes FR24 assume it has continued going.

It didn't take the media very long.

They have this thread followed I'd say :)

Taxiing to stand. Visually everything appears looking at the outside of it.

I imagine the media also has 75/76/7700 alerts set up on FR24 as well.

    Sensationalist bollocks as usual.
"Aeromexico flight diverted to Shannon due to fire in cargo hold"
Er, no, a warning light came on in the cockpit. Diverting as a precaution...

I doubt the "media" has this thread followed more likely getting alerts from FR24.

They quote an AirLive.net tweet in their report. Thats where they got it. Some reporters they have.

AM3 will taxi to a remote place then open the cargo door.

Will be pushed over to a remote area. Passengers have been deplaned.
