If what you heard is true maybe it might be the Hotel that the Eagles song was about. He can check out but never leave

And yet; with a sense of incredulity, I can just imagine Joe pitiching the idea to some overlings at RTE, and even more incredulously, them listening to it, nodding sagely , as if the Duffmeister has hit upon something of real moment - an opportunity to rush spiritual aid and comfort to the needy of Berkeley and let them know that all Ireland is thinking of them - live on air, so to speak.
Of course, this is nothing more than speculation about his absence and a diversion from the daily disasters that befall us, but I do wonder if it's true.

Damo said he's doing the show for the rest of the week.
Assume Joe is just off finishing his buke

Well, he has been working hard, of late. A whole couple of weeks of daily appearances.

With a Bank Holiday thrown in for a little breakeen for the man of the people. God knows he deserves a rest for all of his Trojan work, and him with the weight of the nation on his shoulders. He should get a raise.

Maybe he's taking time to calm down. Death, Clery's closure and Bloomsday in the same week is probably like taking an overdose of Viagra to Joe.

so here's a question, I know about 5 people that work in support services, with special needs kids etc.
1 works with Tusla, family support
    1 barnados teenage pregnancies
1 hse not sure but seems to bring kids to visit their parents in prison a lot
    2 hse special needs

am sure you all know some. There are already lots of employed to help those who need it but there is still not enough or is it not being divided properly amongst those who need it?

the cuts in services are a total disgrace we made such a big deal of equality in this country recently but this group of people are treated far from equally by this state

It seems to be that the care they get is too soft touch and lazy going through red tape and ancient care methods, nobody challenges the old methods or suggests new treatments. There's a whole industry running off light touch treatment of misery.

If God is supposed to be selfless why does he want his creations pray worship and adourne him?

They are spending more here per person than the UK and we have a rubbish service it's nothing to do with funding, it's to do with the management of the money. With the current system you could double the spending and the service would still br rubbish.

I've put a dishwasher tablet into the washing machine just for the kicks, might detract from the misery.

If it fails anyone have any suggestions as how to get smell of diesel out of a washing machine?

Cup of white vinegar will probably do the trick.
