Just a heads up on a promo for Android Play, the receipt mentions iTunes as well.

I seemingly payed 12.75 for a 15 euro Google Play card last night. There was a mention of a discount on the paperwork.

I asked the cashier and she acknowledged there was an offer of some sort.

    Sorry for the vagueness.

Also the price checker beside the pharmacy did not appear to be working, just beeped but no price coming up.

Anyone know is there another one hidden around the store somewhere?

Couldn't find any Dom either :(

Is there not one over at the electrical/homewares area too?

Its 15% off a 15 Euro card. There are 3 or 4 on offer- I didn't pay much attention as to which were included.

I would imagine it would give you the "official" price rather than the store specific madness that this thread really relies on at times though.

Correct (and thats if the price is even on file- there are a significant number of barcodes not available on the app). Why so many barcodes would come up as 'unknown' I have no idea.

Seems to me that the Tesco app barcode-scanner will only scan items that are available for sale on the online store. So it won't work for most tech, electrical etc.

The other 1 is always off but in any case as you enter through the door it's in one of the aisles to the right (one with kettles, toasters etc or one near it)

The tesco app price scanner doesn't work on games(3ds in this case tried in omni last week) or some crapy cheap earphones I tried it on yesterday in jervis street store, both came up as €0.00 which would have been an awesome deal to snag. ;)

Gift card rack at the tills.
No- they're not in every branch.
Larger stores will definitely have them- its a bit hit and miss with the smaller stores.

Cheers went to crescent, roxboro, and Arthur's quay, got a few batteries but got these glasses in roxboro, latte glasses were €3 and the mug and plate was €3.50, great value as I paid at least €7 for the latte glasses in home store a few months ago

This may have already been mentioned but this 3 for €3 mix and match deal is really good.
Choose from a range of 2 litre drinks, O'Donnells crisps and Cadbury sharing bags. Some of the stuff is €2.99 on its own anyway.

None of late either. They're obviously so overrun with Lidl and now Aldi vouchers that they can't afford to be giving out any of their own! :D
