You'll find the savings to be relatively insignificant at this price point.

Hence the reason I used "may"

Looking at getting one of these android box's, maybe from one of the guys on Adverts. I know very little about these boxes or Android in general but am wondering, if I get one that comes pre-installed with Kodi or xbmc will it behave and look like the Kodi I have installed on my PC or is there any difference.

It's pretty much identical. The add ons you use on your PC will work on the TV box too.

If your PC is windows you can copy over your set up to the android box you get.

It will be Irish customs and dependent on delivery price I doubt you'll be charged, you can look up how customs calculate it.

I know that when i used ParcelMotel in the north for delivery in the south that my item had to go through uk customs but not so sure irish customs as well after parcel motel you sure about that?

If it's coming from China, is not getting posted directly to here? If it's going to the UK dependent on the delivery price I'm guessing you won't be paying customs.

Once it goes through the UK one it shouldn't be put through customs in any other EU country.

If they decide that it's destined for Ireland, I see being more an Irish customs item.

I've got a problem when using Gen, when watching a series it's only showing a tick on a few it's getting seriously annoying going into ones that I've watched and having to come back out. Other then uninstalling it any idea's how to get it sorted out?

You need to watch to end , not stop when the credits start. This is what I have found.....

That could definitely be the reason, very rarely give it a chance to go to the end.

Indeed, watch till the end, or you can also highlight the programme, and right click/ C Key on it, then click "watched".

Normally for something to be watched in Kodi, you need to watch at least 80% of a file.

I'm using kodi with trakt and series guide app for tracking what I'm watching. Very useful widget available in android which shows what you've watched and new episodes/releases available for shows you're watching. You can adjust what percentage of the file you watch in kodi before it marks it as watched in your library.

I use the following, find it very handy, after a bit of setting up you will have calander with list of when next episode for your favorites will be released

Am I right this keeps an online record of what you watched?

Yes. You have an account with trakt. Kodi has a sign into trakt facility where it syncs what you've watched and updates your library. You can then use a range of apps on android to interact with your library info.

I can look at my phone and quickly see what the last episode of a series I watched. I can look at a widget and it'll show me of the shows I watch/follow what episodes were on last night.

It is a really useful feature and adds so much ease and functionality. You can also use the one trakt account on several devices.

I use a Measly Rc12 which I find great but the only downside is it isn't backlight.

Buy one that is backlit and your good to go.

Everyone on here for a long time raved about how good the K400 was. Link below. I got it on special from amazon but never use it. Find it clunky and slow to get around Kodi
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-Wireless-Touch-Keyboard-K400/dp/B005LDLQXG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1432035015&sr=8-1&keywords=k400

Really I have a cheap USB wireless mouse, small, easy and you can fly around Kodi very easy. Costs about 5 quid from Argos/PC World

Jeez, I love the 400. I'll give ya €20 for it Nelly and take it to a loving home; no point in leaving it sitting in a box gathering dust ;)

It'll be handy for the man cave eventually (attic conversion ) if I ever get the money for it :(

Plug in does nothing except send what you watch to their servers.
